"R&B star Usher is hoping to pack a punch at a charity auction in Las Vegas on Friday (04May07) when he sells off a boxing glove autographed by fighter Oscar De La Hoya. De La Hoya will be fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Arena on Saturday (05May07) and Usher has secured one of the gloves he has been wearing during practice.
He'll sell off the rare item on the eve of The World Awaits bout to benefit his Usher's New Look charity.
The Yeah! singer will attend the charity bash at TAO on Friday and hopes to bring a handful of celebrity friends with him, according to website EyeOnVegas.com.
