NEW MUSIC HOOPLA AND SIGHTINGS
Janet Jackson celebrated her 42nd birthday with boyfriend Jermanie Dupri at Katsuya restaurant. (FYI: Janet was born on May 16, 1966).
JD even uploaded a new YouTube blog about Janet's b-day. He and Janet also hop on a plane to Atlanta for his daughter's birthday.
New promotional shots of Tweet surfaced online via "Inked" magazine. Tweet talked about her upcoming album, "Love, Tweet" and the meaning behind her various body artworks.

A new track from Beyonce's upcoming album caused some buzz on the blogsophere last night. Anyhow the new Beyonce song in question is called "Should Have (Now I Know)".
Soon after "Beautiful Nightmare" leaked, Beyonce posted a message to her fans that it's not the time for her to release new music. Incidentially so the song leaked the same day as Jennifer Hudson's new song, "Spotlight". Drama sells, I suppose? Anyhow I love how the song builds up to the chorus. So are you feeling the track or not?
The Pussycat Dolls has finAlly released their lead single, "When I Grow Up" off their upcoming sophomore record out this September. The new PCD track in question is called, "When I Grow Up" and Rodney Jerkins is the producer behind the track.
According to the good folks over at RAP-UP.COM, PCD would debut the lead track on May 20th at "Jimmy Kimmel Live". So do you like PCD's new single or not?

With her faith in the music biz partially restored, Tweet headed back into the studio for her third album, Love, Tweet. “It’s a love note to the fans that have been there for me throughout the hiatus. The true fans—they inspired me to get back in.”
She began writing new songs and completed six or seven using material she had already written and tracks that producers built around them. She teamed with a host of producers for the album, including Nisan Stewart (Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado), Warren Campbell (Brandy), and Novel (India Arie, Joss Stone), to craft an album about love and loss that showed a side of Tweet other than the one from the over-sexed single that made her. Missy Elliot and T.I. are already rumored to appear. The Charlie BeReal- and Craig Brockman-produced “Love Again” is one of Tweet’s favorites. [INKED via TWEET-NEWS]

Thumbs up to Bey's song; Thumbs down to PCD, but it might grow on me
