Christina Aguilera supported the ThisDay Africa Rising Festival in London. She wore a colorful Pucci turtleneck dress (similar to Joy Bryant's gown verison) and purple YSL tribute pumps - just like the one Tichina Arnold wore recently.



Tichina Arnold also wore these suede YSL peep-toes with a matching purple satin suit to the 5th Annual Hollywood Style Awards. The "Everybody Hates Chris" actress wore a rocker-chic look at the L.A premiere of "Max Payne." Tichina's close friend and former "Martin" co-star Tisha Campbell-Martin just joined the cast of "Everybody Hates Chris." These two even appeared in the 1986 film, "Little Shop of Horrors" so their friendship goes way back.


Eve (where has she been??) was seen at the Hollywood Style Awards as well. Judging by the way she's flaunting that colorful clutch, that hot accessory may be to a Fetish by Eve design. Eve pose with Ludacris and Tyrese on the red carpet.



Also at the "Max Payne" premiere were Nelly Furtado, LaLa, Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Ludacris and Tyrese. Nelly had on those popular YSL round-toe pumps while LaLa had on Rihanna's Gucci 'Marion' high heel ankle strap sandals...again! I am so hype for Nelly's new album.

Expected many of your favorite stars to appear at the upcoming 2008 Video Music Awards this Sunday night in Hollywood. Britney Spears will open up the show while Kanye will close it. (Something tells me Britney would do better this time around...) Christina Aguilera who appeared at the press conference earlier with T.I will debut her new single, "'Keeps Getting Better" from her greatest hits compilation disc "A Decade of Hits". As to what to expect Christina only said, "You're going to get a first look and a first listen at my new image and my new sound. The last album, the style and sound was about vintage gleam, this one is all about the future." T.I will perform "Live Your Life" with Rihanna. So expect many great TV clips from the show. Nelly Furtado long ago ditched her blonde hair for her natural brown.



She was seen in concert over at Dresden, Germany. That colorful psychedelic silk chiffon babydoll top Nelly has looks like this Dolce & Gabbana crisscross dress.


This past Sunday, Nelly performed at B'estfest music festival in the same colorful get-up. According to Nine O' Clock, Nelly performed a medley of her hits including "Like A Bird", "Do It", "Turn Off The Lights", and "Say It Right."

Kelly Rowland, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, and Nicole Scherzinger were the American celebrities at the 2007 Europe Music Awards which was held at Munich, Germany.

Deservingly so, Nelly Furtado picked up an EMA for Album of the Year on the behalf of her album, "Loose". The Grammy's and the VMA's somehow overlooked Furtado but the EMA embraced her. Thanks in part to producers Timbaland, Danja, and her songwriting, "Loose" had some of 2006 and 2007's best singles like "Say It Right", "Maneater", "Promiscuous" and "Do It".

Back in Paris, Rihanna and her gray Gucci scarf was spotted arriving at her hotel. Reportedly the singer will be participating in the Star Academy's reality TV show in France.

Rihanna did pick up an Urban Award at the EMA's but she sent in a video message instead. Her prior obligation in Paris prevented her from attending the award ceremony in Germany.

English actress Thandie Newton rock a black and white ensemble to the 16th Annual BAFTA Awards in Los Angeles.


Newton recently spoke out on how she grateful to use her celebrity to raise awareness on the Darfur crisis:

"I think that entertainment and show business is a fantastic way of reaching people. I think there needs to be much more of a sense of responsibility when we use the power of entertainment to affect people's lives. Really I feel very proud to be an actor and be a member of this community and to be making a small difference."

"Oops! (Oh My)" singer Tweet is back on the music scene with a new single with T.I called, "My Dear."


Accoring to the rumor mill, this song was originally for R&B songstress Ciara. Nonetheless,"My Dear" will serve as the lead single off Tweet's upcoming record, "Love, Tweet".

"Southern Hummingbird" is still one of my favorite R&B records thanks in part to "Best Friend", "Smoking Cigarettes", and "Call Me." Personally "Oops (Oh My)" overshadowed one of the best lyrically work from Tweet--sort like what Amerie's monster hit, "1 Thing" did to her album, "Touch."
