Sunday's almost "Gone"

The weekend's almost over. So I'm going to watch 'Clueless' for the gazillionth time...it turns out yesterday was Stacey Dash's b'day! So Platform Launch Action wishes Stacy a happy belated b'day!

Can you believe 'Clueless' is over 10 years old? The movie came out in 1995. Wow, time surely passes.

Beckham's planning to invade Superbowl with an interview.

'British soccer ace DAVID BECKHAM is planning to become a household name in the US next month (FEB07) when a TV interview with the star is screened during the Superbowl final - to an audience of 80 million Americans.
Beckham and his wife VICTORIA will soon be moving to Los Angeles after he signed a five year contract, beginning in June (07), with LA Galaxy worth $250 million (GBP128 million).

Leading chat show hosts OPRAH WINFREY and JAY LENO are reported to have lost out in the race to clinch Beckham's first major TV interview since announcing his new career move.

Instead, the current Real Madrid player will speak to US network CBS, who are covering the American football finale on 4 February (07).

A source says, "This is the big one. Nobody leaves their house when the Superbowl is on." {Source}

Angelina Jolie enjoys the fact that travelling to foreign countries allows her to keep out of magazines (re: tabliods). Think again Angelina! Well as least she's making the paparazzi focus on more realistic things. She's beating them to their own game--loves it!

Tia Mowry of popular TV series 'Sister, Sister' and 'The Game' reveals to People magazine her engagement to long time boyfriend, Cory Hardrict.

'“He surprised me in front of my entire family,” says Mowry, 28, who starred with twin sister Tamera on the 1994-1999 WB series Sister, Sister and is now on the CW comedy The Game.

“I knew something was up because he came over to my parents’ house and he was acting strange. He went to the bathroom three times in 10 minutes and he was sweating profusely. I was like ‘Cory, are you okay?’ ”

Turns out, acting funny was Hardrict’s master plan. “He’s a jokester,” says Mowry, who costarred with Hardrict, 27, in the independent film Hollywood Horror. “He had given me a card and it read, ‘I love you, blah blah blah.’ And he said, ‘Tia, I just want you to know that I want to be committed to you, and with this promise ring I want to let you know that I love you and I want to work towards the near future.’ ”

Only instead of a ring, Mowry’s little brother [Taj] came over and handed her a piece of paper that said “Psych!” while Mowry’s other brother queued up the Jagged Edge song “Let’s Get Married.”

Hardrict then got down on one knee and gave Mowry a diamond ring he’d designed himself. “He was crying, I was crying,” says Mowry, who hasn’t set a wedding date yet. “It was just one of the best moments of my entire life.”
Congrats to Tia Mowry! I thought it was cute her brother Taj was in on the act.
