Kelly Rowland's album reportedly got pushed back to July 3rd. Yes fans of Kelly Rowland this is another week of waiting for "Ms. kelly" to drop. Word is that Kelly will appear on the cover of "Giant" magazine. Earlier I report on "Ghetto" being the second single but Kelly has said she wants her fans to pick the next single. Anyhow, "Ms. Kelly" will go up against T.I. and his alter ego T.I.P come July 3rd. This push back might be to distribute the album as a Dual Disc to include the "Like This" video or some type of behind the scenes footage.

Jay-Z's mother, Gloria Carter, was honored yesterday by the city of New York:

Jay-Z stopped by City Hall on Wednesday to watch his mother, Gloria Carter, receive a proclamation from the City Council for her "outstanding contributions to the community." Carter oversees the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund, a college-focused charity created in 2003 to help people who might otherwise not have the opportunity for higher education, such as disadvantaged youth and nontraditional high school graduates. The charity also offers mentoring programs and other services.

“Me and O have been trying to put this together for so many years, and now we’ve got the opportunity to do it,” Bow Wow says. “We’re in the creative process right now, still trying to come up with a title and everything. Me and him are coming up with ideas daily, so the process is gonna go real smooth. We’re anxious to get in the studio together and make this whole thing happen.”
