Mariah Carey also had on Melody Ehsani designs for her "My Love" music video shoot with her husband Nick Cannon and The Dream. MC wore a custom made "MIMI" necklace with Pink Leopard Swarovski Bamboo. Fansite MARIAH DAILY was on the scene with the photos.

Jay Electronica, the boyfriend of Erykah Badu, announced on his twitter page that he and Erykah just welcomed a baby daughter on February 1st at 1:30 PM. No name was mentioned but since Analog Girl Erykah has a son named Seven Sirius (with Andre3000) and a daughter named Puma Rose (with The D.O.C.) one can expected a rather unique name. Congrats to Jay and Erykah!

Usher joined Jermanie Dupri in this latest video blog taken during their joint studio session. Keep your eyes lock on that not really new tattoo Usher showed off. From what I tell it's a tribute to his brother JLack and his two sons Cinco and Naviyd Ely. (Fast forward to the 7:29 mark.)

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are going to be working together yet again but this time for the video treatment of "My Love" - The Dream's new single. (Dream also signed on to work on Mariah's upcoming album, MC3.)



According to RAP-UP, The Dream recently wrapped up his "Rockin' That Thing" video with his new girl group Electrik Red. Nick balanced being a video director and a husband while working on Mariah's I Stay In Love video shoot...so one can argue that the second time around of a Cannon/Carey video session would be just as good as the first.

The Dream confirmed that he's working on Mariah's new album during his interview on 102.7 KIIS FM's HD2 New Music Show with DJ Skee. He called the album, MC 3 and said that they'll working on extending her greatest hits appeal. (Blinks eyes at the working title! Mariah Carey re-recorded her hit inspirational ballad "Hero" for her new album, "The Ballads." Due out January 20th, Mariah added many of her greatest hits (like "Dreamlover", "Vision of Love" and "One Sweet Day") onto her compilation record. John Mayer did his own acoustic spin on Mariah's holiday jingle, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" for the WPLJ Benefit at Blythedale Childrens Hospital in New York.
