James Franco and Tyrese Gibson supposedly have an ongoing fued. The fued all started back when the pair co-star in the 2006 film, "Annapolis." Tyrese famously called James out by saying he'll refuse to work with James ever again. Read it for yourself, folks:

[James Franco] tells Complex magazine, "We've made up, or I tried to make up with him. Maybe I was too into that role. I don't try to be mean to anybody on a movie. In the past I've tended to isolate (myself), and maybe people take that as me being rude or me not liking them, but it's really a way for me to stay in my character. I really had nothing personal against Tyrese, but I guess there were a lot of misunderstandings."

In his Playboy interview, Gibson growled, "I never want to work with him again, and I'm sure he feels the same way. It felt very personal. It was f**ked-up." [source]

Pregnant "Ugly Betty" executive producer Salma Hayek air out her thoughts on the Bible in the May issue of "Marie Claire":

"I don't like the way the Bible views women - this thing about the Virgin Mary conceiving a child without having sex - so if you conceive a child by having sex, there's a subliminal message that there's something dirty about it.

"And this is what makes us divine - I mean, the possibility of creating another life should remind women that we are creators, that we are made like God in our ability. There is nothing greater than to create another human being."

Halle Berry recently dropped by the "Late Show with David Letterman" to promote her feature film, "Perfect Stranger":

Lil' Wayne did a freestyle battle on BET's "Rap City":

Not too shabby at all. They need to bring back Big Tigger...

Nelly Furtado is the latest victim of "Punk'D":

FRIDAY HOOPLA

-Rihanna and Omarion*-

First of all thanks for the e-mails! Between yesterday and today I couldn't bring myself around a computer long enough to update so thanks for baring with me. Second of all from the rumor mill we got ourselves a new couple*. And now onto the celeb news & gossip, folks:

Ciara did not let BET's ranking her as #25 did not slow her down one bit.

The L.A "Redline" premiere kick off by a stellar performance by BET's #25 dancer of all-time Ciara.

Wesley Jonathan and his girlfriend Denyce* Lawson attended the premiere.

*Denyce stars in "Redline."

Rosario Dawson was spotted enjoying a laugh with friend, Eva Longoria in Santa Monica.

*Perhaps Eva is inviting Rosario to 7/7/07 wedding to Tony Parker.

Kerry Washington*, who's sense of style is little bit off lately, attended the Los Angeles Confidential Magazine and the Creative Coalition Dinner Party last night.

*On a side tip, Kerry has been linked to a new man post-broken off engagement to actor David Moscow.

"Gorgeous Kerry Washington has a brand new man. The "I Think I Love My Wife" star ended her engagement to actor David Moscow last month after 21/2 years of dating. But friends say she's thrilled about her new guy, a crew member she met while making her new movie, "Life Is Hot in Cracktown." Washington is still on good terms with her ex, though - they share custody of their cockapoo, Josie."
[Page Six]

Oprah* joined Larry King for his 50th anniversary in broadcasting for an interview:

*Loves the blue on blue!

Mya covers the the current issue of Caribbean fashion magazine, "Ocean Style":

Mya's looking fierce as usual.

Her new album, "Liberation" drops this summer. On that note, check out a short clip of her music video, "Lock U Down"* featuring Lil' Wayne:

*The clip air at the end of BET's "Black Carpet". From the looks of the video, Mya is back in rare form.

According to Toya's World, Usher has hired a wedding planner for his upcoming nupitals to long-time girlfriend Tameka Foster.

"Anyway, in other Usher news, the 28 year old Multi-Platinum singer and his fiance stylist, Tameka Foster have hired New York City Event Planner Extrodiare, Preston Bailey to coordinate their November nuptial. Raymond and Foster phoned Bailey back in December when he proposed and asked that Bailey do their wedding and reception. Sources say that the wedding will be "very - private" and that the celebrity couple have mentioned the island of Aquila as one of their possible wedding destinations. A close friend of Tameka told Atlanta Gossip, (AG) that they would be spending one week of their three week honeymoon on the South of France."

And onto a full rundown of that Rihanna and Omarion picture from earlier:
Folks we supposedly have ourselves a new couple...
"Teenage R+B pin-up Rihanna is reportedly dating singer/actor Omarion, 22. (They were recently spotted having dinner in L.A. at the Grove Center.)"
- Contact Music
As much as I would like to believe this rumor, this is one of those things that I say---'you need more people!'

EARLY BIRD HOOPLA

John Legend appeared on La Méthode Cauet, a French TV show, which aired a couple of days ago. Below is a video clip featuring JL on the show:

Here's a a few screen caps of him* on the show:

*I'm feeling John's sweater.

Before I talk about that smile of his, watch another video clip of John performing. This time around he did his own spin to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get it On" on the French TV show, "Taratata" which you can view over at http://www.taratata.net/

Some fun screen caps of JL in action:

You can tell JL was feeling the song. He also perform "Save Room."

Broadway star Fantasia was listed as one of top 10 Most Stylish Women in Entertainment in the current issue of "Black Sophisticates" hair magazine:

Joining Joy Bryant, Rihanna, Queen Latifah, Molly Simms and many other notable stars, Drew Barrymore becomes the face of "Cover Girl":

Green shoes, buttercup dress...hmm...

*The contrast between the green shoes and the buttercup dress is quite interesting. It sort of goes with Drew's bubbly personality.

Robin Thicke, who's currently working on Usher's upcoming record, has said he would like work with Beyonce on a future project.

"Well I’ve got a summer tour with Beyonce and I just did a record with 50 Cent this week for his new album. I would like to work with Beyonce and maybe we will come up with something while we are on tour and I definitely want to work with Jay-Z some day. I’m also working with Usher for his new album. Besides that I’m half -way done with my new album – I’m just so excited to be touring and being able to get my music out to people."
Robin on working with his wife, Paula in his current video, "Lost Without U":
"Yeah, my wife is in my music video for Lost Without U. We didn’t have any money and we couldn’t afford anyone else. (Laughs) So she was the only one who would do it for free. I wouldn’t even consider it to be work when I was with her though. To me, that was just me hanging out with my wife."

Captializing on the four new music videos off the re-release of her sophomore record"B'Day" Beyone's camp Music World Music decided to the use images from the aforementioned videos for "The Beyonce Experience" tour book:

Henry Simmons from NYPD was recently featured in "Krave" magazine for its "Spring Cleaning" photospread:

[props to Bossip]

"King" magazine shed some extra curves on BET's '106 & Park' VJ Rosci for its June issue:

Rosci on herself: "I'm a Scorpio and I'm Latin. I'm full crazy, so don't get me mad."
[pic credit: CONCRETE LOOP]

On a side tip, Lauren London*, as you know as you may know as New New, is joining the cast of one of the few TV shows I care for "Entourage":

*Lauren London has landed a multiepisode arc on HBO's comedy series "Entourage," playing a love interest for Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). Be on the look-out for Lauren's first guest spot on the episode "The Resurrection" where she portrays Kelly. Hit up Entourage's official website for more info on Lauren's guest spot here.
