Jennifer Lopez attended the Broadway musical play In The Heights. (Just a year ago, J.Lo was spotted at Broadway in this Pucci dress.) Gotta love those super long jeans she has on.



Dwyane Wade put up a good front in spite of his pending divorce legal woes at Alonzo Mourning's King Pin Classic charity benefit. (Damn D. Wade just had to be cute, huh? LOL!)

The 66th Annual Golden Globes Awards kicked off moments ago in Beverly Hills. The late actor Heath Ledger won Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Indie favorite Slumdog Millionaire (with Freida Pinto) picked up Best Screenplay. Click HERE for all the winners.



Jennifer Lopez sparked divorce rumors because she didn't wear her (wedding ring) with her draped Marchesa dress. (Maybe the bling didn't match her fab dress??!) Beyonce (who came with husband Jay-Z) didn't walk away with any Golden Globe this year but she looked great in that strapless Elie Saab dress. My best dressed pick went to Eva Mendes in Dior. The 14th Annual VH1 Critics' Choice Award was held on Thursday January 8th with Taraji P Henson, Angela Bassett, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Freida Pinto (go rent Slumdog Millionaire), Eva Longoria Parker, Ludacris, and Common in attendance. Taraji was my best dressed pick of the night.



Slumdog Millionaire won Best Picture. Anne Hathaway (Bride Wars) and Sean Penn (Milk)picked up Best Actor/Best Actress awards. Tune into VH1 (or HERE) to check out all the winners.

Melanie Brown alongsider her husband Stephen Belafonte and daugthers Angel Iris Murphy and Phoenix Chi went out for dinner and a movie at the Grove in Los Angeles over the weekend. Both of Melanie's daugthers dressed alike...aww!



Ashanti (in Notte by Marchesa) supported her boyfriend Nelly's 3rd Annual Black & White Ball in St. Louis. Also in attedance were Murphy Lee and his wife Seven, Jermaine Dupri, as well as the Douglas family (her sister Kenashia, momanger Tina, and father Ken-Kaide Douglas).

Halle Berry spent some quality mother-and-daughter time with Nahla Ariel Aubry at a Beverly Hills park over the weekend. Also there with the twosome was Halle's mother Judith Hawkins but no Gabriel Aubry in sight. However that's not to say Halle and Gabriel have to be attached at the hip. Black Celebrity Kids has more kodak moments of Halle and Nahla in the park.





Considering that her last major hit was "Say I" (which was co-written by Jazmine Sullivan), buzz for a new Christina Milian album was heightened by the countdown ticker placed on the singer's myspace page. Christina Milian finally gave her music fans a quick update on her upcoming 'comeback' album via her myspace page. The lead track off her still untitled MySpace Records debut is called, "Us Against The World." In a recent interview with "Billboard", Christina worked with Kanye West, T-Pain, Cool & Dre, Danja and others on the album. "Us Against The World" according to her myspace page will be release on October 8th.



What else to expect from Christina's album: In addition to "World," the album includes tracks like the feel-good "Diamond," "Stay," which Milian compares to an early '90s s Madonna ballad, and the Euro-club record "Tug of War." [billboard]


The tracklisting and cover of Christina Aguilera's greatest hits collection, "Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits" was finally released. Christina already performed a remix of "Genie of a Bottle" and her current single, "Keeps Gettin' Better" at the 2008 Video Music Awards. The greatest hits record wouldn't be release until September 30th via Target. Anyone else like/dislike this new Space image Christina has going on?

The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off last night in Los Angeles with several known faces from night time television. "Mad Men" and "30 Rock" were the two's biggest winners. (I hate to admit that I haven't seen not one episode of either show. I do enjoy "Ugly Betty" and "House.")



My best dressed picks went to Eva Longoria Parker in a flapper-inspired Marchesa cocktail number, Vanessa Williams in a custom-made Kevan Hall dress, Heidi Klum in a asymmetrical Armani Prive gown, and Sandra Oh in Oscar De La Renta.



Many looked fab and others let their dates shine like Diddy and his mother Janice Combs. Alfre Woodward of the current Tyler Perry film, "The Family That Preys" came to the event with her daughter Mavis. Wayne Brady was a presenter with Kate Walsh as were America and Vanessa.




Heidi Klum, one of the five reality TV-based Emmy hosts, kept changing into one show-stopping number over and over again including a Project Runway alum Christian Sirano design. No signs of Heidi's husband Seal on the red carpet though...



Entertainment Weekly's 6th Annual Pre-Emmy Celebration:
Nicey Nash came with her boyfriend while Dania Ramirez arrived solo. Omar Epps wore the same gray vest he had on at T.I's private dinner...while his wife Keisha Spivey rock some hot paint-drip pumps.
