HOOPLA FROM LAX TO PHARRELL

Friendly duo Chris Brown and Rihanna were spotted holding hands as they made their way through LAX. The twosome made their relationship public when they were caught sitting together at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

As mentioned yesterday, Janet Jackson visited BET's "106 & Park" to announced the tour dates for her upcoming "Rock Witchu" tour. Terrence J and Rosci got Janet to talk briefly about her man JD but she got all shy and coy. Too cute...

Usher hit up another Summer Concert Series event but this time it was for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" where he performed his hit, "Love In This Club". Usher recently made a comment about his ex, Chilli in a new interview with UK-based urban publication RWD magazine...

RWD: Chilli was quoted as saying you were the one she ‘truly did love. I’m not in love with him anymore, but I can’t say I don’t love him.’ Do you think it’s appropriate for her to make these comments considering you’re married with a child?

Usher: I mean, I think it’s a little unrealistic, I’m married (laughs), I’m not a boy. It’s been three years past, you know? But we all have unrealistic goals too. Like shoot, I will always forever love Katie Holmes and Halle Berry. I don’t feel anyway about it. It does appear maybe to be a plug for something. She got a record coming or something?

Can Usher and Chilli simply avoid talking about one another just for the sake of promoting their various projects?!? Just let it ride...

Melanie Brown promoted her new spokesmodel gig for "Ultimo" lingerie and her 33rd birthday recenty at Debenhams at the U.K.. At least Mel B has move on from promoting her own fashion line, Catty Couture...

Robin Thicke's better half Paula Patton (in Michael Kors) and model Chanel Iman were seen at the 2008 CDFA Fashion Awards and you can check out other attendees in this earlier post...

M.I.A and Amerie both went fashion-forward and funky at the Target/Converse-hosted MTV Movie Award after party. Amerie just confirmed that she has began working on a follow-up to her last record, "Because I Love It". M.I.A just announced her engagement and the guy's not Kanye West.

Zoe Kravitz, who "Essence" magazine named a style icon back in March, attended photographer Ricky Powell's "Illy Funksters" exhibition opening in New York City. (I'm digging that Gucci tote she has on.)
