Moments ago on MTV.COM, the video premiere of the Maroon 5 and Rihanna collaboration for "If I Never See Your Face Again" surfaced.



The chemistry between Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine and Rihanna has that irresistible charm. This song could become THE summer anthem song or it to early to call it that yet?

"If I Never See Your Face Again" will on the upcoming album re-releases of Rihanna and Maroon 5 as reported earlier.

Rihanna collaborated with Maroon 5 on the remake of their song “If I Never See Your Face Again.”

According to various reports, Maroon 5 has the song on their album re-release, "It Won’t Be Soon Before Long". Rihanna also has the song on her own album June 17th album re-release, "Good Girl Gone Bad."

This new collaboration comes as no surprise because Maroon 5's lead vocalist Adam Levine admires Rihanna as a artist. The new single also will be the only duet on Rihanna's Summer album re-release.

Maroon 5 and Rihanna also shot a stylish Anthony Mandler-directed video for the upbeat tune in Los Angeles recently, MTV reports.

We're both re-releasing our albums — mine's out June 17," Rihanna told MTV News. "This is the only collaboration on my re-release, because I always wanted to work with Maroon 5. They're one of my favorite bands. When they called me to do this record with them, I was so honored."

"The song was basically done, but we wanted to try something different, so we had her come in and do bits and pieces," Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine added. "It came together so quick. The only other collaboration I had done before was with Kanye, and it was the same way. It sounds cheesy, but if the magic is there, if the chemistry is there, you don't even have to think about it."
