With her October 7th album release date quickly approaching, additional photos of Michelle Williams surfaced on the Daily Mail (a popular UK publication). Michelle has definitely switch up her style from her time in Destiny's Child as evident in that new hairstyle. "Unexpected", Michelle's third solo effort, has the hit dance track, "We Break The Dawn."

The much anticipated new single from Christina Milian called "Us Against My World" surfaced online days before its October 7th world premiere. The Mad Scientist-produced track serves as the lead single off Christina's upcoming album. I think Christina has another hit on her hands. Check it out...

Check out this new slow-jam song from Lloyd called "Year of The Lover" featuring Piles. Back in August, Lloyd released his third solo album, "Lessons in Love" with the lead track, "Girls Around The World." On the track which may be his latest single off the album (thanks to TJ), Lloyd sings to his lady love. I like it but you give it a listen...

Jennifer Hudson dropped by the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" to talk about her upcoming self-titled solo debut and she also perform "Spotlight." (I much rather Jennifer bring Fantasia on stage with her!) Jennifer also talked about her shock-everyone engagement to Punk. [Thanks Jay!]

Check out last week's performances from Toni Braxton and Kim Kardashian on season 7 of "Dancing With The Stars." Ironically Kim danced to "Baby Got Back" and I'm impressed with Toni's determination to do well on the show despites her medical condition. Be sure to tune in Monday night for more "DWTS" dance-offs. (Thanks DimeWars!)

Apparently R&B singer Lloyd has a sex tape and I do say that with great humor! As Lloyd explained to DJ G.Child of 1Xtra, the sex tape is still in its planning stage and he claims it will be better than Ray J. (Thanks GChild!)

The 8th Annual Urban BMI Awards was attended by the Jackson family, T.I, Tiny, Bobby Valentino, Ray J, JoJo, Mario, the Simmons sisters, Elise Neal, Tatyana Ali, Christina Milian, Tocarra, Keri Hilson, and Melanie Brown.

The Jackson 5 were awarded with a BMI Icon (re: Lifetime Achievement) award. According to PEOPLE.COM, Ray J, Bobby Valentino, Mario, and Lloyd sang "Never Can Say Goodbye" as a tribute to the Jackson 5.

Speaking of the Jackson clan, Janet hinted at a possible departure from her label home Def Jam Records in a recent interview with Billboard magazine. I can't say if we'll be working with them in the future," Jackson said today (Sept. 4) during a conference call with reporters to promote her upcoming Rock Witchu Tour. "I don't know what the future holds between the two of us." Hopefully the tour will get things going for Janet on the music tip. At least Janet knows something is up with her "Discipline" promo.

On the fashion tip, Tiny rock this Gucci "babouska" medium boston bag...just like Ciara's own. Their bag cost $1950.

Any fans of N.E.R.D within the L.A area? If so, you can get your chance to see the group perform at the music festival, Hard NYE, starting on July 19th at the Shrine Expo Hall in downtown Los Angeles.

Pharrell recently teamed up with Santogold and The Stokes lead vocalist Julian Casablancas on the track, "My Drive Thru." The single according to the good folks at Concrete Loop was recorded for a Converse promotional campaign. Check it out...

Brian Scully from THINKTANK Marketing just sent over these new promotional photos of Lloyd. Speaking of which, his new album, "Lessons in Love" will be in stores August 5th with 13 songs including the lead single, "Girls Around The World."

Lloyd may cut off his cornrows like Trey Songz did recently...but something tells me Lloyd may pull that move in the distant future. After all, Lloyd did made a point to flaunt that hair of his in that video.

Kanye West went off on a brief rant on his official blog about anger management rumors.

Now the media is saying I'm going to anger management something or 'nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah... SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can't make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don't know if everyone has realized this yet but I don't do interviews if there's anything I wanna say I'll say right here on my own blog. Check this out...I took a quote from my rant and used it as my headline.. just like a real media outlet would... hahaha!

In related news, anyone else picked up on a new trend Kanye sort of started with those huge shades he wore during Paris Haute Couture Week? So is it safe that Kanye started it?!

Danity Kane's D. Woods celebrated her 24th birthday in ATL with celebrity guests Danity Kane (of course) and Lloyd in attendance. Remember Lloyd had D. Woods as his on-screen love interest in his "You" music video? *Anyhow D. Woods went for "Its A Girl!" birthday theme. Aubrey did a cover of Madonna’s “Like A Virgin”. Danity Kane performed “Sucka For Love” off their new album and D.Woods shut it down with Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” (*Thanks Jennifer for the inside info!) Courtesy of ALLTHEPARTIES.COM, you can check out the flicks from the party which was held at Luckie:

On the fashion tip, anyone know that Dawn Richard had on the ever popular Black Halo dress? D. Woods wore a white ruffled Betsey Johnson dress. Aubrey and D. Woods remain close to one another during the party in spite of the Ray J rumor. On the music tip, the female R&B group just wrapped up the video treatment for their second single, "Bad Girls" in L.A.

The Hype Williams-directed video of Lloyd's latest single, "Girls Around The World" featuring Lil' Wayne premiered on BET's "106 & Park" but the best element of the video has to go to Lloyd's long hair. Be sure to visit RAP-UP.COM for the cover art work of Lloyd's upcoming record, "Lessons in Love".

Lloyd and Weezy also collaborated on his Summer anthem, "You". Lloyd paid a visit to BET's 106 & Park to talk about his "Girls Around The Way" video and you can check out the video over at YARDIE 4 LIFE.

Ashanti has been seen all around the Big Apple (re: NYC) promoting her fourth solo disc, "The Declaration". Ashanti performed a few oldies and her new hit, "The Way That I Love You" at her Walmart Soundcheck gig. The combination of her upbeat energy and her live band backing up her made the gig worth watching. She performed the following jams - "You're Gonna Miss", "In These Streets", "Girlfriend", "Foolish" and ended it with "Only U".

Fellow Universal Motown artists JoJo, Lloyd, and Ashanti attended the Hearst Magazine's "Ultimate Prom" event in New York City...

Good to see no hard feelings between former The Inc labelmates Lloyd and Ashanti. Anyone else eager to pick up Ashanti's new record when it hits stores June 3rd?

R&B singer/dancer Lloyd collaborated with Ludacris on his lead single, "How We Do It (Around My Way)" off his upcoming third solo effort, "Lessons in Love".

Lloyd shot the video treatment at PC&E Studios in Atlanta, GA, according to VIBE.COM.

"How We Do It (Around My Way" was produced by Baby Boy and Superkidd as reported by BILLBOARD.COM.

Lloyd also has a online performance gig with Pepsi, which you can check out via his official site.

Various Universal Motown artists like Lloyd, Teyana Taylor, Keisha Chante, JoJo and Ryan Leslie attended the industry event celebrating Hearst's extended partnership with the record label.

Teyana and Lloyd looked extra cozy with one another at the Nunez-photographed event.

Last month, a Myspace video featuring Lloyd and Teyana surfaced showing them getting quite close. (Check out the insert in the photo above.)

Tagging these two as 'just friends' or as the 'new couple' on the scene can be entertaining but time will only tell...
