BEFORE THEY WERE STARS: KYLA PRATT

Child star actress Kyla Pratt made her big screen debut in "The BabySitter's Club" but it was memorable stint on "Parent Hood" that got her noticed:

Best known for her role as Penny in the Disney Channel's "The Proud Family", Kyla Pratt has since appeared in countless feature films like both of "Dr. Dolittle" films alongside Eddie Murphy and Raven Symone and the hit television show like "One on One" co-starring Flex Alexander and Robert Ri'chard.

As of yet, Kyla and her best friend Jennifer Freeman of "My Wife and Kids" fame appeared in a B2K music video:

SATURDAY'S BRIEF RUNDOWN

Eve was spotted at Radio One Spring Fest to promote her "Giant" magazine cover. This marks her first public outing since that whole crashing her Maserati into a divider earlier this week and she looks flawless!

TV HOOPLA

Via Us Weekly:

Solange Knowles, 20, will guest host an upcoming episode of MTV’s Total Request Live. "She is going to be a guest VJ for a day coming up but will not be a permanent, full-time VJ,” a rep for Beyoncé’s little sis tells Us. Now that TRL host Vanessa Minnillo is leaving the show, the gig is up for grabs.

Tyra Banks paid a visit to Conan O'Brien show:

Kerry Washington, a Bronx chica at heart like myself, attended the opening night of the Tribeca Film Festival looking rather fly than usual:

Kerry supported the SOS: Short Film Program which serves to create a series of educational and compelling short films that highlight the problems of, and engage people with solutions for, the global climate crisis.

Mario bites the hand that help made him who he is today:

"Ne-Yo co-wrote Mario’s big hit “Let Me Love You” from his double platinum sophomore CD, Turning Point, which Mario admitted went to the top of the charts in every country that it was released in. Since then, Ne-Yo has not only penned hits for Rihanna, Beyonce, Usher and Mary J. Blige but has also released his own multi-platinum CD.

Although Mario applauds the work that he has done with Ne-Yo, the singer is looking forward to taking his music in a new direction.

“Ne-Yo is very versatile, but we already got what I needed from him. Hopefully we’ll be able to do some stuff together in the future,” admits Mario.

“This album is sexier and more passionate,” says Mario who does more of his own songwriting on Go. “I feel like I’ve grown to a point where I’m comfortable in my own skin, and this album truly reflects that.”

OVERHEAD HOOPLA

Alicia Keys* and Bono team up in the name of charity recently in New York City:

This charity event was for the Keep-A-Child Alive Foundation that stars like Kanye West, Common, Bono and many others support. Visit the Keep-A-Child-Alive Foundation's official site here.

On the official site, Bono had this say about the foundation: "Distance does not decide who is your brother and who is not."

Eve was arrested after crashing her Maserati into a center divider on Hollywood Blvd. Former Mr. Madonna actor Sean Penn was spotted leaving in a taxi close to 4:00 AM right outside the precint that has Eve locked up in. Luckily for Eve it pays to have a good well-known friends. I'm just amazed that Sean Penn paid her a visit. Soon after his visit, Eve just posted $30,000 bail and was released from Los Angeles County Jail. Doing the walk of shame, E-V-E covered her face, as she was picked by yet another Maserati:
