COUPLES NEWS: KELIS PREGNANT UPDATE, TAMEKA'S SURGERY STATUS, ERYKAH'S TWITTER BABY, MEL B-EDDIE MURPHY BABY DRAMA.

Nas confirmed that his wife Kelis IS pregnant with their first child during this MTV News interview. News broke via Us Weekly last month. Nas and Kelis have been married since January 2005.

Nas on the baby's sex: "Yeah, man, I find out what it's gonna be next week, so I'm happy," said the rapper, who has a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. "I got another one coming in '09, yeah! That's what's up!" [MTV News]

Usher's wife Tameka Foster Raymond was induced into a coma after compliations from a routine surgery at Brazil's São Paulo's Sírio-Libanês hospital, reports E Online. News of Tameka's surgery first hit the blogosphere prior to Usher's scheduled appearance at the 2009 Grammy Awards. The pair just welcomed their second son Naviyd Ely Raymond back in December 2008. UPDATE: Tameka had a heart attack prior to plastic surgery reports Us Weekly.

His wife, Tameka, is in Brazil and has experienced complications from plastic surgery. A neurosurgeon, Dr. Gabriel Hunt of LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, is on the way to South America. [Access Hollywood]

Eddie Murphy has agreed to provide child support (a estimated $51,000 a month/$10 million support package) for ex-girlfriend Melanie Brown's daughter Angel Iris. Mel B gave birth to Angel Iris on Eddie's birthday (April 3, 2007) and Eddie has subsequently took a DNA test to confirm that he's the father.

British tabloid the News of the World has revealed that Murphy has agreed to a support package totaling more than $10 million, following a 15-month court battle in Los Angeles. [source]

CELEBRITY WEDDINGS IN 2008

Here's another fun installment of Urban-Hoopla's Best of 2008. This time around let's focus on celebrity weddings.

Weddings: 2008 was the year of weddings. From The Carters (Beyonce & Jay-Z) to The Cannons (Mariah & Nick) weddings occurred year around.

Malinda Williams and Derrick "DJ D Nice" Jones - Malinda documented her bridal showers and pre-wedding prepartions via a blog on Essence. When they finally got hitched in New Jersey, their celebrity friends Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker, Vanessa Williams and Terri J. Vaughn all came through with support.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon - These two came across as an unlikely pair when they wed on April 30th. The Cannons event set tongues ablaze via their matching his/her tattoos. (Nick has Mariah's name across his back and she has "Mrs. Cannon" on her lower back.)

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict - "The Game" actress wed her long-time boyfriend Cory with her fraternal sister Tamara and brother Tahj in attendance.

Eddie Murphy & Tracey Edmonds - Just as soon as these two tied the knot, they quickly filed for divorce.

J.LO AT MILAN FASHION WEEK, MELODY THORNTON TURNS 24 + THANDIE NEWTON COVERS "BLACK BOOK" MAGAZINE

Jennifer Lopez bummed into her "Wedding Planner" co-star Matthew McConaughey at the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2009 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week. Also, it comes as no surprise that Jennifer attended the show as she was seen in D&G designs lately. You gotta love Jennifer's D&G limited-edition black croc "Miss Catch" satchel.

Turning 24 is a just another reason to celebrate as proven by Melody Thornton at Les Deux. Eddie Murphy and Brandon Davis of all people showed up at Melody's birthday party. Where was Bow Wow or even her PCD band members?!?

London-based actress Thandie Newton, who currently stars in Guy Richie's "RockNRolla", can be seen on the cover of "Black Book" magazine. Thandie also can be seen next in the upcoming Oliver Stone-directed film, "W" as Condoleeza Rice.

MEL B AND TRACEY EDMONDS BECOME FAST FRIENDS

Last month Melanie Brown and her husband Stephen Belafonte were seen at Foxtail restaurant - the same evening Tracey Edmonds had dinner at.

So in case you're wondering where's the hoopla, continue reading.

Melanie and Tracey are Eddie Murphy's well-publicized exes.

InTouch Weekly has all the hoopla on Melanie and Tracey's documented meeting at the L.A eatery.

On April 19, Eddie's ex-girlfriend, Spice Girl Melanie Brown, and his ex-wife of two weeks, Tracey Edmonds, ran into each other at Foxtail Restaurant in L.A. Mel, 32, and Tracey, 41, arrived separately with friends when they spotted one another.

"Once they made eye contact, they walked right over to each other," an insider at the restaurant confides. "The Two hugged and they instantly bonded."

The insider says the ladies chatted, swapped numbers and made plans for lunch. We're sure they'll have lots to talk about!"

If this scenerio of Eddie Murphy's exes reuniting seems to be familar, well in one specific way it actually does.

Last August, Melanie Brown and Eddie's ex-wife Nicole Murphy had lunch together at The Ivy with their two daughters as PEOPLE.COM reported on.

EDDIE MURPHY'S NORBIT GETS RAZZIE NODS

Eddie Murphy won critical acclaim for his role in "Dreamgirls" but his 2007 movie, "Norbit" recently received eight Razzie nominations.

According to eurweb.com, a Razzie Award "rewards" the year's worst in film.

Razzie founder John Wilson has the following to say about "Norbit": "We decided that each of his characters was so offensive that he deserved individual nominations."

EDDIE MURPHY AND TRACEY EDMONDS SPLIT

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds with their wedding party

Eddie Murphy's marriage to movie producer Tracey Edmonds is over. The marriage lasted only two weeks.

The couple held a spiritual wedding on New Year's day which bought out close friends Johnny Gill and Miguel A. Nunez on the island of French Polynesian.

Eddie and Tracey's official statement: "After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."

Bottom line, the twosome are going to remain just friends.

LOVE REPORT ON EDDIE AND TRACEY PLUS REGGIE AND KIM

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds are one of the first celebrity couples to get married in 2008 according to PEOPLE.COM.

The couple were engaged since last July before getting married on January 1st.

There are reports of an engagement between couple Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian.

This rumor sparked up when Kim was spotted wearing a 10-karat engagement ring on her wedding finger over the weekend.

FYB has the picture but Kim has since denied the engagement reports to OK! magazine.

Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian made their relationship public when they hosted a New Year's Eve bash in Miami Beach.

MEL B ON DWTS WEEK 4

Melanie Brown performed the last night on "Dancing with the Stars" for a fourth consecutive week:

Highlight of the clip goes to judge Carrie-Ann Inaba on Mel B's brash tongue: "When you open your mouth you're just kind of like a truck driver". Tune in tonight to see who'll get eliminated.

And in related news, Mel B and Eddie Murphy are scheduled to fight over their daughter Angel Iris' child custody disputes on November 14th. Ironically so, this Brown-Murphy court hearing is on the eve of Spice Girls widely publicized comeback performance at the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show.

Nicole kicking it with Mel B comes a day after Mel B held a press conference stating that Eddie has NOT paid a CENT in child support. To think Eddie dump both of these fly chicks to get marry AGAIN is out of this world, isn't it? As to why Eddie doesn't want to own up to being Angel's father, well let me put this way it's just one of those things that make me go hmm....

EDDIE MURPHY AND TRACEY ARE ENGAGED

So Eddie Murphy didn't just pull a Kobe Bryant to girlfriend Tracey Edmonds of 10 months. When asked at the premiere of "Who's Your Caddy",* Tracey initially laughed off engagement rumors...
"This one is a really sweet, wonderful, beautiful gift that this man gave me. No, this isn't an engagement ring. If I were gonna do an engagement ring, it would be much bigger." [-Tracey Edmonds on her 'special ring'.]

A mere days later their engagement is confirmed.
The 46-year-old 'Dreamgirls' and 'Shrek the Third' star proposed on July 25 with a "massive," roughly 8-carat CARTIER yellow diamond engagement ring.

COUPLES REPORT: EDDIE & TRACEY, DIDDY & KIM, MYA & POLOW

Eddie Murphy and girlfriend Tracey Edmonds, who shot down rumors last week that the couple had split, take a hand-in-hand stroll while vacationing in Positano, Italy, on Saturday.

In a bid to shut down rumors of his relationship with Sienna Miller, Diddy and his girlfriend Kim Porter have officially ended their 10 year relationship:

It's over between Sean "Diddy" Combs and his girlfriend of 10 years, Kim Porter,
a rep for Combs confirms to PEOPLE.

A source close to Porter says she has moved out of the apartment she shared with Combs, and into a new home in Los Angeles with her children.

The New York Post's Page Six column reported last week that Porter had moved out of Diddy's New York City apartment and bought a home in Beverly Hills.

A rep for Diddy denied the Post's report that the mogul's relationship with actress Sienna Miller caused a rift with Porter.

"There is literally nothing between them," the rep told PEOPLE
last week. A rep for Miller also said that "reports of Sienna being linked with
P. Diddy are categorically untrue."

Did I forget to add that Diddy is moving to London...most likely to stay closer to his new girlfriend, Sienna. Things that make me go hmmm...

DRUMROLLS PLEASE

As announced on The Wendy Williams Experience, Eddie Murphy IS the father of Melanie Brown's daughter, Angel Iris Murphy. Yesterday the pair were photographed at the court, media outlets are quickly picking up on this story.
Mel B had to hear about Eddie and her not being together via various media outlets. Eddie famously dismissed Mel B on air.
In the interview for the Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard, Murphy was asked about Brown and her pregnancy. "We're not together anymore," said Murphy, 45. (See the clip here.) "And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."

On that note, Mel B is set financially for life!

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown carries her 2-month-old daughter Angel Iris into a Los Angeles medical office for a DNA test on Monday in a bid to prove that Eddie Murphy is her father.

What I found sad about the Mel B/Eddie Murphy paternity suit test are two simple things:
1.) This is the first time I've seen Mel B photographed with her baby in a LOOOOONG time
and
2.) This is the first time I've seen Eddie Murphy photographed without his girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds.
Anyhow Eddie and Mel B were photographed entering and leaving Roxbury Medical Center in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon.

PARTY OF 2 TO 5

All eyes were on the rather camera friendly reunion between former couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake at the Shrek The Third premiere. [pic credit 1, 2]

Eddie Murphy (who plays Donkey in the film), Mike Myers (who plays Shrek), Antonio Banderas (who plays Puss N Boots), Julie Andrews, Rupert Everett, and R&B songtress Mary J Blige attended the green carpet premiere. MJB bought along her husband Kendu Isaacs and his two adorable children.

After playing catch-up with her ex, Cameron (who voices Princess Fiona) shared a laugh with SNL alums Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph:

I know some of you grown females out there have been counting this day down just as I'm counting down until his next album drops. "Wall to Wall" is bumping off "Like This" and "Same Girl" as my most played song on my IPOD right about now. Anyhow Chris celebrated his b'day before opening up for Beyonce down in Australia.

Who's who in the hip-hop world were all down in Las Vegas apparently:

Diddy, Usher, 50 Cent, Nelly, Usher, Young Jeezy, and Jay-Z all partied down in TAO this past weekend.
