MUSIC UPDATES: JAMIE FOXX, NE-YO, LUDACRIS, BEYONCE, COMMON AND JAY-Z
Fresh off the heels of 2005's "Unpredictable", Jamie Foxx (re: his J Records reps) confirmed that his new album "Intuition" has guest appearances and contributions from T.I., Sean Garrett, Ne-Yo, The Dream, and Tricky Stewart. "Intuition" is due out on December 16th. Cannot.wait!

Jamie Foxx Preps for Intuition

Jadakiss teamed up with Ne-Yo for his new single, "By My Side" which is featured on Jada's upcoming third album, "The Last Kiss." The combination is quite addictive. Check out the video below...

Beyonce has a new song floating around the music blog scene called "Radio" which was produced by Jim Jonsin. (Thanks Rae!) Rumor has it that her entire album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce" already made its way online and no I'm going to post that link. In the meantime check out "Radio."

Jay-Z recorded a song with Cee-Lo called "History" in honor of President-Elect Barack Obama. Angie Martinez played it on her Hot 97 radio show. Give it a listen...

click here if you can't see the video.

Speaking of Cee-Lo, his group Gnarls Barkley just released a video spot for their current single, "Mystery Man." Gnarls Barkley's new album, "Who's Gonna Save My Soul" drops on November 11th.

Click here if you can't see the video.

If you thought the drama Raz-B created between B2K and Chris Stokes went away, think again thanks to Lil' Fizz. The former B2K member offered his insightful opinion on the whole situation. Fizz even took a shot at Omarion. Check it out...

T-Pain hopped right onto the new Ludacris track called, "One More Drink." Luda has his album release date for "Theater of The Mind" set on November 12th. By the way Luda spoke on Barack's historic win which you can check out here.

BOW WOW TAKES AIM AT OMARION
Bow Wow decided to launch a verbal attack against his "FaceOff" album collaborator Omarion via a new song he did with Young Joc called "Lookin' Boy."

Bow talked about Omarion's tight pants habit and he even goes to mention the whole Raz B/Chris Stokes situation. As to why Shad (re: Bow Wow) decided to take aim at Omari (re: Omarion), who really knows? (Thanks Sandra Rose!)

TV HOOPLA WITH FANTASIA, OMARION, AND G UNIT
Fantasia performed "Bore Me (Yawn)" during last night's "American Idol" live telecast. (You can check out another performance of "Bore Me (Yawn)" over at her official myspace spot.)

spotted at dlisted

That energy to her fiery red hair 'do certainly proved why Fantasia won! After the performance, Fantasia confirmed that she's working on her third solo effort.

Omarion
performed Michael Jackson's "Thriller" during last night's "Dancing With The Stars". (For those keeping track, this performance is his first after getting dropped by Columbia Records.)

There's no doubt the pop culture influence MJ left behind, huh? The 25th anniversary tribute to MJ's classic was nice.

G Unit label mates (50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo) dropped by BET's "106 & Park" to discuss their latest musical project, "T.O.S (Terminate On Sight)". (The group's first single is called, "I Like The Way She Do It".)

The interview completely went into nice mode which is contrast to Roci going off on 50 during the whole "Kanye West vs 50 Cent" fiasco. Check out Rocsi's thoughts on 50's music here.

OMARION & AMERIE GETS DROPPED BY COLUMBIA RECORDS
IOMARION & AMERIE GETS DROPPED BY COLUMBIA RECORDS

Omarion may have produced the hits, "Icebox", "O", "Touch", and "Entourage" but all those accomplishments did not prevent him from getting dropped by Columbia Records.

Omarion recently confirmed* that he has moved onto a new record label. The musical setback did not however stop his film career as he also said he has another dance dance film called "Go Hard" in production. [*Thanks to KING-O.COM!]

Following the lukewarm sales of her album, "Because I Love It" and its lead single "Gotta Work", Amerie also was dropped by Columbia Records.

The "1 Thing" singer (Amerie) reportedly has a Def Jam recording contract under wraps.

BEST REMIXES IN '07
In no particular order, here are a handful of the year's best remixes.

50 Cent-"I Get Money" Forbes Remix featuring Diddy and Jay-Z

"I Get Money" became the club banger and anthem for many so when Diddy and Jay-Z jump on the Forbes remix this song quickly become one of hip-hop's hottest collaborations. As Funkmaster Flex said it best "I Get Money" is "one of the hottest records out."

Alicia Keys-"No One" remix featuring Junior Reid, Chaka Demus, and Beenie Man

When "No One" blasted on the radio, fans and critics were between-do we like it or hate it? So when Alicia introduced the reggae-inspired remix at 2007 American Music Awards, some critics felt her 'raspy' vocals match the upbeat melody better.

Rihanna-"Umbrella" remix featuring Chris Brown.

Word circulated on the blogs and online that Chris Brown loved "Umbrella" so much that he did a remix at one of his concert stops which he later re-named "Cinderella". Shortly after, the remix was played on national radio. Rihanna return the favor at the 2007 VMAs for their joint melody of "Umbrella".

Ne-Yo-"Do You" remix featuring Mary J Blige

"Do You" follow-up to his smash, "Because of You" and Mary J did her thing on the vocals. Although the vocals were recorded separately, the harmonies blended perfectly. You however prefer the original...and the shirt Ne-Yo has on in the video.

R. Kelly-"I'm A Flirt" featuring T.I and T-Pain

When this song came on, folks claimed "I'm A Flirt" is Bow Wow's song and that R. Kelly took it as his own. Bow Wow even performed the song solo at one of his concert gigs.

Justin Timberlake-"Until the End of Time" featuring Beyonce Knowles

When time came to release the Grammy Award-winning disc, "Future Sex/Love Sounds",Beyonce remixed Justin Timberlake's "Until the End of Time". A few of you argued over whether the original is better than the remix.

Kanye West-"Throw Some D's" remix

Kanye West took Rich Boy's smash, "Throw Some D's" and make the song his own while name dropping Britney Spears, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Angela Bassett, Alicia Keys, and Halle Berry.

Omarion-"Icebox" remix featuring Usher

Omarion took to his official myspace page to leak the remix of "Icebox". The video clip showed Omarion and Usher recording the remix in the studio.

Avril Lavigne-"Girlfriend" remix featuring Lil' Mama

Lil' Mama bought to 2007 catchy hooks (Lip Gloss, anyone) so she bought her same upbeat energy to the remix of Avril's "Girlfriend".

Musiq-"Buddy" remix featuring Fat Joe and Ja Rule

Fat Joe and Ja Rule team up on the remix of Musiq's "Buddy". The twosome made this song from the type of song a guy may sing to a girl to a bona-fide club hit.

Beyonce Knowles-"Get Me Bodied" remix with Solange, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland

When Beyonce, her sister Solange, and her Destiny's Child counterparts (Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland) at this year's BET Awards, it was easy to see why this was one of the best dance anthems from 2007. "Get Me Bodied" was featuring on the B'Day Video Anthology DVD- a new trend 2008 may reproduced.

This list however doesn't top upon the many great remixes so I ask YOU which were your favorites that weren't mentioned?

BOW WOW AND OMARION'S HEY BABY JUMP OFF VIDEO

Omarion and Bow Wow continue bringing singles from their joint record, "Face Off". "Hey Baby (Jump Off)" is a Rick Rubin production. "Face Off" has sold 101,146 copies in its first week of sales.

"Let Me Hold You" to me is the best Omarion/Bow Wow song but I'm just basing this off the singles they released thus far from "Face Off".

In related news, Omarion has released an official statement on the Chris Stokes molestation allegations: "I want to be on the record as saying that "Raz B" Thorton and Ricardo Thorton are lying regarding Chris Stokes. Chris is a father figure to myself, and many others in the industry. He's guided us, helped raised us and is nothing more than an inspiration and someone I respect to and look up to. I have spent countless hours, days, weeks and months with the man since the age of 5 and have never once seen him behave inappropriately. He's married to my aunt and I know this man very well. I stand behind him with no question whatsoever. I have grown up around Chris and this is crazy to me. These people have damaged me, and my reputation and I won't stand silent and will do all within my means to speak the truth about this matter". [Yahoo!]

BOW WOW AND OMARION ON THE BLACK CARPET

Bow Wow and Omarion recently sat down for a interview for BET's "The Black Carpet" with hot, Toure. Things got out of hand when what appeared to be an indifferent Toure confused Omarion for Chris Brown and questioned why Bow Wow pulled out his cell phone mid-way in the interview.

OMARION & BOW WOW'S GIRLFRIEND VIDEO

The lead single off the Omarion and Bow Wow record, "Face Off" debut last night on BET "Access Granted". Bow Wow and Omarion working together on the same project goes all the way back to their Scream Tour days...so it's a long time coming. Just as Bow Wow said in the song, "We got another hit here, O", the twosome's female fans will appreciate the song. "Girlfriend" is a club banger... to me that is. Shortly afterwards "Access Granted", the premiere of Omarion and Marques Houston horror flick, "Somebody Help Me" dropped. Anyone catch it? "Somebody Help Me" is sort like an urban take on "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Check out "Face Off" album cover:

"Face Off" is in stores December 11th.

J.LO DOES IT WELL
Jennifer Lopez's sixth studio effort and fifth English-language one "Brave" drops today but that didn't stop bloated stomach J.Lo from doing into full promotional mode. The Bronx native stopped by MTV Total Request Live and Good Morning America.

Visit That Grape Juice for more clips!
J.Lo is also producing a new movie called, "Feel the Noise" starring Omarion.

From producer Jennifer Lopez comes the story of a talented twenty-one-year-old (Omarion) from the South Bronx whom has his dreams of hip-hop stardom dashed when a run-in with local thugs forces him to hide in Puerto Rico with the father he never knew. [CONTINUE READING]

MELODY THORNTON'S 23RD B'DAY BASH

Melody Thornton's high profile friends (Omarion, Wilmer Valderrama, Adrienne Bailon, Kim Kardashian, and her Pussycat Dolls counterparts) threw her a private surprise birthday bash at hot night spot, Les Deux.

Melody partied with her celebrity friends in a hot pink bandage-like mini made the designer of the moment - Herve Leger and a chic pair of last season's Yves Saint Laurent tribute pumps. As to why Omarion is there? Well, as I reported earlier Melody dated Bow Wow for a brief moment. Omarion and Bow Wow are close-knit friends with an album, "Faceoff" coming out soon. So Omarion is cool with his best friend's ex. Friends do this type of this thing, right?

For the time being, I'm classifying Melody and Omarion's 'relationship' as 'just friends.'
