Carmen Electra threw a party (Carmen Electra Hosts the Absolut PEARS Launch Event) recently in NYC with celebrity friends Common, Dania Ramirez, Arielle Kebbel, Ice T and CoCo in attendance.
Common's working on his seventh studio effort, 'Finding Forever' dropping this year (late September). His new movie, 'American Gangster' co-stars Denzel Washington, T.I. and Russell Crowe.
Carmen is slated to appear in 'Epic Movie' a spoof of countless films that were released in 2006.

Tyra Banks fires back on her recent weight gain to People.
'On her hit show America's Next Top Model, Tyra Banks has always stressed the importance of body confidence – but it still hurt when tabloids ran an unflattering photo of her in a bathing suit under headlines that screamed, "America's Next Top Waddle" and "Tyra Porkchop."
Now, for the first time in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Banks, 33, is publicly discussing her much-buzzed-about weight gain. "I get so much mail from young girls who say, 'I look up to you, you're not as skinny as everyone else, I think you're beautiful,' " she says. "So when they say that my body is 'ugly' and 'disgusting,' what does that make those girls feel like?"
As for how Banks feels about her own 5'10" body – which she says is at 161 lbs. these days, about 30 lbs. heavier than when she landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue in 1997 – she says: "I still feel hot, but every day is different. It's when I put on the jeans that used to fit a year ago and don't fit now and give me the muffin top, that's when I say, 'Damn!' "
In other words, yes: She has put on weight, though not nearly as much as those recent tabloid stories suggested. (Banks believes the pix were snapped at an unflattering angle.) "She has a very womanly, gorgeous body that goes up and down," says her good friend Heidi Klum.
In fact, Banks says that since she retired from modeling in 2005, the number on the scale has fluctuated from 148 lbs. to 162 lbs., depending on how well she is taking care of herself. "I feel more comfortable when I'm lighter – I sleep better, I snore less, I have more endurance when I work out, my arms look better," she admits.
Still, she isn't freaking out about wearing size 32-waist jeans or about "the fat roll" she claims to have on her back. (Her biggest source of figure angst is her size-DD breasts, which she says make it hard to find clothes that fit: "I would love for them to be a size and a half smaller.")
But, she adds, "I've made millions of dollars with the body I have, so where's the pain in that? If I was in pain, I would have dieted. The pain is not there – the pain is someone printing a picture of me and saying those (horrible) things."
In fact, it appears that by adding a little padding, Banks the businesswoman has earned a bit of credibility: Her talk show is now entering its second season, and the most recent season of Top Model delivered its strongest ratings ever. "(TV execs) think it's better when I'm at 155 lbs. – at 145, they feel I'm not as relatable," she explains.
Besides, Banks is having a lot more fun these days eating the pancakes off a friend's plate at IHOP than trying to fit into designer sample sizes. Of course, if someone would come up with a miracle cure for cellulite, she's not above admitting she'd be first in line. "I think every woman," she says, "would want to do something about their cellulite!"

America on whether it's hard to maintain her relationship with her boyfriend in Hollywood: "It's always hard. You have to make time to keep a relationship going and it's hard when you have a career that demands so much of you. I know that I have ot make a conscious effort to give time to it because if you don't take care of it, it goes away. You have to nurture it, every relationship, everything matters."
America on who she wants to work with in the future: "If I get to work with Tom Hanks, I'll feel like my dreams have definitely come true. I adore Kate Winslet because she's fantastic in so many different ways. I love the fact that she's a woman and having babies and still professional."
America on her favourite music: "I like Missy Elliott and Eminem and Fiona Apple and Damien Rice -- whatever I'm in the mood for. I kind of listen to everything. I like country music, too."
Hugh Hefner had this to say about Kelly osbourne wanting to be featured in 'Playboy':
"I can't see it happening somehow - we don't airbrush to that extent."
Is he implying because she's big-boned or she's not 'pretty' enough to be in his 'Playboy' magazine?!? WTF?!? {WENN}
Patti LaBelle wants her dog, Nasir, to be tamed.
'The LADY MARMALADE singer rescued the mutt four years ago (03) when he was a puppy, but her love for the pooch turned to fear when the dog tried to attack her one day.
LaBelle recalls, "I walked by one day and he really tried to get at me."
The singer decided to call on TV 'dog whisperer' CESAR MILAN to help her tame Nasir for a new National Geographic Channel special.
On the show, which airs in America next month (FEB07), Milan, who has helped many top stars control aggressive pets, says, "Nasir here is an insecure large-breed dog."
Using his tried and tested techniques, the dog expert managed to persuade his famous client to hand-feed her pet for the first time and then take him for a walk.'

I think for the first time in a long time for Tyra that is ---she can eat whatever she wants. I mean she is NOT big as the tabliods peg her for. Yeah she's bigger than what you and I are used to seeing her as but give her break. I bet she was on a diet all her modelling days and years and this is the first time she's like whatever. She still looks good and I don't think she's not healthy. our society can be so superficial. Skinny doesn't mean healthy.
And Nancy is giving me hope! Ageless beauty indeed.
they need to leave tyra alone. yeah she has gained some weight , but why mess with the woman if she is happy with herself ? now if she were to lose alot of weight and she was walking around like a skeleton they'd be ripping on her for that as well. tyra needs to tell them to kiss her ass. she's only 160. i would love to be 160 lbs. i would think i am the finest broad walking the earth at 160 lbs. those tabloids need to shut up .
