JAMIE FOXX PROMOTES NEW ALBUM, "INTUITION" ON LENO & BIG BOY'S NEIGHBORHOOD

Jamie Foxx has been on TV and radio promoting his new album, "Intuition" out on December 16th. He kicked things off with a performance of his lead single, "Just Like Me" (without T.I. unfortunately) on "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and a interview.

Jamie decided to add some humor during his radio interview with Big Boy's Neighborhood by targeting fellow actor-turned-singer Terrence Howard's music project. Jamie even went as far as imitating Terrence's voice and saying: "His album went plastic."

MILAN FASHION WEEK, MICHELLE & TERRENCE, JANET'S OFF DEF JAM + NE-YO'S "SHE GOT HER OWN" VIDEO

Solange Knowles kept her Armani Jeans Ambassador active when she attended not one but two shows during Milan Womenswear Spring 2009 fashion week. Also there at Milan Fashion Week were Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo who sat front row at the Just Cavalli show. Kelly also dropped by the D&G Spring 2009 fashion show.

Across the pond was Kelly and Solange's close friend Michelle Williams who was seen all cozy with Terrence Howard at Niche Media’s Michigan Avenue Magazine Launch Party. Michelle's album, "Unexpected" has its album release date on October 7th! Speaking of music, Terrence has his own music project going on as well.

Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins dropped a bombshell during a recent interview with RAP-UP that confirmed Janet's dismissal from Island Def Jam Records. Darkchild produced Janet's single, "Feedback" off her album, "Discipline." Darkchild said he would love to with Janet, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis on her music project. Janet in the past has been vocal about her position and frustrations with the music label. Hopefully with the success of her "Rock Witchu" tour, things on the music tip would look up.

Jamie Foxx and Fabolous team up with on the "Miss Independent" remix called, "She Got Her Own." Look out for cameos from Jill Marie Jones, Estelle, Teyana Taylor, Eve, and Keyshia Cole. Ne-Yo just released his third studio effort, "Year of The Gentleman" last Tuesday. I like how this remix slowed down the original melody. Fab is definitely on a roll...because he was just heard on the Ryan Leslie track. In case you're wondering Fab had on this Beyonce t-shirt.

JANET AT APOLLO THEATER AND 106 & PARK

Janet Jackson was spotted all around New York City promoting her upcoming "Rock Witchu" tour. Janet alongside Terrence Howard, Denzel Washington and Pauletta appeared first spotted at Apollo Theater for the fourth annual Hall of Fame inducation ceremony. Janet then took off for a taping of BET's "106 & Park" where she discuss in full details her first nationwide tour since her successful "All For You" tour.

In the interview, the R&B songbird/actress talked about her album title and her "Foolish" music video co-star Terrence Howard.

Your new album is called "The Declaration". Would you like to take this moment to declare anything?
Absolutely. I'm declaring that I'm here. The album is a new sound for me. I found out so much about myself working with new people. Everything had kind of been in house for me, so I was used to having a security blanket - like Linus from Peanuts with his blue blanket. I'm declaring that it's been four years and a lot of people had questions, but I'm here, baby.

The video of your debut single, "Foolish", costarred a then-unknown Terrence Howard. How was that?
Terrence is a lot older than me. I was young when I made that video, only 21. He was so funny on set. He's going to get mad at me for saying this, but at the end of the video they put the camera up on my face as he gives me a hug. And he squeezed my ass! I'm going to get him. It was hilarious.

BROADWAY AND B'DAY HOOPLA

Melyssa Ford, Alesha Renee, Rosci, Charli Baltimore, Fontzworth Bentley, Q-Tip, Fabolous, DJ Clue, and Terrence J celebrated "XXL" magazine's editor-in-chief Datwon Thomas' 33rd birthday at the Hennessy Suite last night in NYC.

Terrence J and Rosci certainly make a point of going to event together, huh? Anyhow, isn't it great that Q-Tip was the event's DJ? I cannot wait to hear what he did on Solange's sophomore album. Charli Baltimore has finally come of hiding...and speaking of which, am I the only one loving her verse on "Down 4 U"?! I do love Melyssa's Gucci bag...

Madonna, who just released her current album "Hard Candy", recently kicked off her promotional blitz as she was seen outside BET's "106 & Park" studios. Prior to that gig, a Dolce & Gabbana-clad Madonna held a private fan-only concert at Hammerstein Ballroom alongside her "4 Minutes" co-star Justin Timberlake.

Terrence Howard, Anika Noni Rose, Phylica Rashad, and James Earl Jones of the Broadway play, "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" are on the April/May cover of "Uptown" magazine.

Debbie Allen, who serves as the play's director, bought together this all-star cast to the famed theatrical district. The play's producer Stephen Byrd revealed the role of Brick was pass on by Denzel Washington and Laurence Fishbourne.

Last month Anika revealed to The New York Times her first impression of Terrence and in the "Uptown" interview she shares her thoughts on working with the cast members.

"It can get a little hot during rehearsals sometimes," actress Anika Noni Rose says with a laugh, referring to the all-star cast sharing the stage in a a revival of Tennesse Williams's classic, "Cat on A Hot Tin Roof". The ensemble includes Terrence Howard (Brick); James Earl Jones (Big Daddy); Phylicia Rashad (Big Mama); and Rose as Maggie, the metaphorical Cat.

ANIKA NONI ROSE ON TERRENCE HOWARD

Anika Noni Rose recently sat down with The New York Times to talk about her return to Broadway via the historical African-American cast play, "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof".

Anika established a name for herself on Broadway back in 2004 when she won a Tony Award for "Caroline, or Change".

The best moment of Anika's interview was when she talked about her first impression of her "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" co-star, Terrence Howard.

Ms. Rose had first noticed the actor playing a womanizer in the film “The Best Man.” Slapping the table, she said: “You knew he had something dirty. I told him that in rehearsal. He had the stank and the sexy at the same time.”

In related news, Anika's book-to-film adaptation "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" and its thirteen episodes got picked up by HBO. The film, which co-stars Jill Scott, is based off the Alexander McCall Smith best-selling novel.

THE PERFECT HOLIDAY TRAILER

Real-life best friends Jill Marie Jones and Gabrielle Union work together in the all-star feature film, "The Perfect Holiday" which has Kat Williams, Terrence Howard, Charlie Murphy, Queen Latifah, and Morris Chestnut as its notable cameos.

Moviegoers will notice that Gabrielle and Morris Chestnut have team up yet again. The twosome have appeared in "Two Can Play That Game", "The Best Man", "Breakin' All the Rules", "The Wood", and "The Brothers".

"The Perfect Holiday" has two Academy Award-nominated actors (Latifah and Howard), two funny men (Williams and Murphy), the leading man (Chestnut) , the girl next door (Union) and round-the-way girl (Jones).

In a nutshell, "The Perfect Holiday" focus on a single mother of three (Union) whose children plots to rip apart her new relationship with department store Santa boyfriend (Chestnut) in hopes of reuniting their mother with their father (Murphy).

Finally Hollywood is recognizing black star quality films. After all, "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married" was the number one movie in the country opening week. For this holiday season, we have two African-American theme films, ("This Christmas" is due out around Thanksgiving).

"The Perfect Holiday" comes out December 12th.

Naomi & The City: It's a Wrap!

Naomi Campbell has successfully completed her five day stint for community service in the Big Apple.

Each day all eyes were on what Naomi would wear to complete her task at hand and so here's a rundown of what Naomi wore. Arguably so, Naomi's FFW best dressed of the week.

[Day One, March 19th]
Naomi decked out in a Chanel newsboy cap, Ralph Lauren coat, Louboutin heels and toting a pair of work-ready combat boots.

[Day Two,March 20th]
Naomi came in a $1,995 Giuliana Teso fur jacket and a jaunty Borsalino fedora.

[Day Three, March 21th]
Naomi sports a a Burberry leather coat, Bottega Veneta boots and a Proenza Schouler bucket hat.

[Day Four, March 22nd]
Naomi rolled in a purple satin Etro blouse with wide-leg J Brand jeans, maroon Marc by Marc Jacobs boots and luxe Pologeorgis fur.

[Day Five, March 23rd]
Naomi was all smiles in her Hermes newsboy cap, rolled up Gap khakis and oversized Burberry cardigan paired with her now-familiar vintage work boots.

Naomi left her community service stunt in a stunning silver Dolce & Gabbana gown and a Rolls Royce. Where was she going? Elton John's 60th birthday party.

Terrence Howard commented on Naomi's fashion sense recently at the Ellen DeGeneres show.

Actor Terrence Howard, whom Campbell had been seen palling around with recently, told Ellen DeGeneres of his friend that she was dressing up "because they wanted to see her in these messed up clothes. ... She's so classy. I love her for that."
