The 66th Annual Golden Globes Awards kicked off moments ago in Beverly Hills. The late actor Heath Ledger won Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Indie favorite Slumdog Millionaire (with Freida Pinto) picked up Best Screenplay. Click HERE for all the winners.



Jennifer Lopez sparked divorce rumors because she didn't wear her (wedding ring) with her draped Marchesa dress. (Maybe the bling didn't match her fab dress??!) Beyonce (who came with husband Jay-Z) didn't walk away with any Golden Globe this year but she looked great in that strapless Elie Saab dress. My best dressed pick went to Eva Mendes in Dior. The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off last night in Los Angeles with several known faces from night time television. "Mad Men" and "30 Rock" were the two's biggest winners. (I hate to admit that I haven't seen not one episode of either show. I do enjoy "Ugly Betty" and "House.")



My best dressed picks went to Eva Longoria Parker in a flapper-inspired Marchesa cocktail number, Vanessa Williams in a custom-made Kevan Hall dress, Heidi Klum in a asymmetrical Armani Prive gown, and Sandra Oh in Oscar De La Renta.



Many looked fab and others let their dates shine like Diddy and his mother Janice Combs. Alfre Woodward of the current Tyler Perry film, "The Family That Preys" came to the event with her daughter Mavis. Wayne Brady was a presenter with Kate Walsh as were America and Vanessa.




Heidi Klum, one of the five reality TV-based Emmy hosts, kept changing into one show-stopping number over and over again including a Project Runway alum Christian Sirano design. No signs of Heidi's husband Seal on the red carpet though...



Entertainment Weekly's 6th Annual Pre-Emmy Celebration:
Nicey Nash came with her boyfriend while Dania Ramirez arrived solo. Omar Epps wore the same gray vest he had on at T.I's private dinner...while his wife Keisha Spivey rock some hot paint-drip pumps.

America first wore this D&G dress in purple with Rodo shoes and Neil Lane jewels at the L.A premiere of "Under The Same Moon".

Jordin with a popular python clutch attended the 2008 BET Awards in the same get-up as America but she wore the look in red.

The 14th Annual Screen Actor's Guild Awards jump started the delayed red carpet hoopla in 2008.

Regardless of the current WGA strike, stars like Tichina Arnold, Forrest and Keisha Whitaker, Eva Longoria Parker, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, America Ferrera, and Vanessa Williams were all presented.

Ruby Dee was recognized by the award ceremony for her work in "American Gangster" in the outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role category.

The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards bought out actress Vanessa Williams, Oscar-nominee Queen Latifah, Omar Epps of "House", Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives", Katherine Heigl of "Grey's Anatomy", Kimora Lee Simmons, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, and America Ferrera of "Ugly Betty."

Queen Latifah paid tribute to the 30th anniversary of ground-breaking television film, "Roots" in a red couture gown. Kimora Lee Simmons looked stunning in a purple asymmetrical KLS creation.


"Ugly Betty" America Ferrera who took home an Emmy for outstanding actress in a comedy series wore this blue Monique Lhuiller gown.

Vanessa wore this aqua Kevan Hall feathery number on the red carpet.

Omar Epps of "House" and his pregnant wife Keisha Spivey of R&B group, Total, went for the traditional look in all black.

Katherine Heigl rock this off-the-shoulder white Zac Posen gown.

Christina Aguilera flaunted her growing baby bump in a black and white ball gown.

Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives" wore this metallic Kauffman Franco cocktail frock:

Wayne Brady came along with his camera-shy daughter. Rashida Jones of "The Office" looked regal in a blue halter gown.
