Viola just signed on to appear in the psychological thriller Law Abiding Citizen with Regina Hall and Jamie Foxx according to EURWEB. (Congrats Viola, Freida, and Taraji for the well-deserved Oscar hoopla!)

The 66th Annual Golden Globes Awards kicked off moments ago in Beverly Hills. The late actor Heath Ledger won Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Indie favorite Slumdog Millionaire (with Freida Pinto) picked up Best Screenplay. Click HERE for all the winners.



Jennifer Lopez sparked divorce rumors because she didn't wear her (wedding ring) with her draped Marchesa dress. (Maybe the bling didn't match her fab dress??!) Beyonce (who came with husband Jay-Z) didn't walk away with any Golden Globe this year but she looked great in that strapless Elie Saab dress. My best dressed pick went to Eva Mendes in Dior. Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden were accompanied by Mischa Barton and Michelle Kwan seen at "A Time For Heroes" Celebrity Carnival. Nicole, Michelle and Mischa (in Christian Louboutin mad mary janes) all wore strapless summer-ready dresses.


Also at the event were The Cheetah Girls, "The Hills" females, Tichina Arnold, and Blair Underwood. (Blair brought along his family while Tichina had her daughter Alijah up on her shoulders.)



Estelle looked fabulous at the 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards and at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition preview party. The "No Substitute Love" singer artist also share the same fondness for bright orange pumps as Rihanna, Dawn Richard, and Kerry Washington.



A bikini-clad Mariah Carey has begun filming the video treatment for her new single, "I'll Be Loving You A Long Time" in Hawaii according to popular fansite, MARIAHDAILY.COM. I guess those reports (re: unconfirmed rumors) of Mariah's husband Nick Cannon directing "Love Story" as the next video off "E=MC2" are not true...

Blair Underwood pose with his three children (sons Paris, 11, Blake, 7, and daughters Brielle, 9) for the June edition of "Essence" magazine.


In the interview, Blair talked about his kids that he had with his wife Desiree Dacosta. (Blair and Desiree have been married for nearly 14 years.)

“I was there with my wife Desiree when each of our children was born, and although i know it’s humanly impossible to be there every second of every day,it’s a joy to watch as their personalities blossom.The greatest reward is when the lessons,thoughts and ideas you’ve tried to teach them begin to connect.They’re constantly evolving,and i love every minute of being their father.”
