Michelle Williams and Beyonce Knowles were spotted at (new X-Factor Judge) Kelly Rowland's surprise birthday party which was hosted by Tank and LaLa Vasquez at Opera in Hollywood last night. This marks the first public appearance of Kelly with her former Destiny's Child bandmates after she split up with her manager Mathew Knowles. (Kelly's actual birthday is today - February 11, 1981.)




Michelle Williams (in Giusseppe Zanotti silver-toe pumps) performed at the Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks last week. Beyonce and Solange's cousin Angela Beyince were there to show Michelle support. I'm loving Michelle's hairstyle. Next for Michelle is her upcoming remix album.

Solange rocked out to her second single, "Sandcastle Disco" on the "Late Show with David Letterman last night. Her sophomore album, "Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams" finally drops TODAY. Speaking of which, she was on "TRL" this morning performing "I Decided (Part 1)".



As you can tell from the clip, Solange had a great time performing her new single. UPDATE: Solange was sported outside the Letterman studios with her beloved Gucci bag...the very one Trina rock to her "Still Da Baddest" album release party.

Jermanie Dupri in his latest YouTube blog address the latest "Billboard" magazine cover. Apparently music producer Danja got the cover but Usher got the secondary billing.



JD certainly voiced his outrage about the situation. To be fair Danja produced many chart-topping hits since Usher's last album, "Confessions" dropped. Speaking of which, Danja recently told "KING" magazine that his dream collaboration would be producing Brandy's album.

Rihanna kept busy behind the wheel of a Porsche on the set of her "Take A Bow" music video in Los Angeles. Right besides the "Take A Bow" singer was her stylist Ursula Stephen. "Take A Bow" serves as the lead single off the re-release of Rihanna's album, "Good Girl Gone Bad".

Kelly Rowland (in a printed Cavalli dress) pose outside Movida nightclub in London. The usually fashion-forward R&B singer has a look that is a complete miss this time around.

Trina serves up another anthem for the ladies via her new mid-tempo jam, “I Got a Thang For You” with Keyshia Cole. "I Got A Thing For You" also is the second single off Trina’s new album "Still Da Baddest" which will be in stores next Tuesday April 1st.

Both ladies look fabulous in the video and as a added bonus Meagan Good's boyfriend Thomas Jones makes a cameo.

Keyshia Cole's on a roll music videos wise as she JUST premiered the video treatment for "Heaven Sent" off her Grammy-nominated sophomore disc, "Just Like You" earlier in the week.

New music from Mariah Carey, Trina, Ne-Yo, Lloyd, and Kelly Rowland hit the music blogs and YouTube this week.



The Dream brilliantly blends the harmonies of Mariah Carey on the remix of "Touch My Body". The remix is just as good as the original. Hopefully Mariah will add the song as a bonus track on her upcoming album, "E=MC²".





Trina's ex Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, and Piles remixed her catchy club-friendly tune, "Single Again". The way Trina got three MALE rappers to endorse her personal anthem/mantra just goes to show she is indeed the self-proclaimed baddest b*tch.





Ne-Yo establish a distinct R&B sound on his first two solo records so it comes as a surprise that the new song ("Closer") leans towards dance. Janet Jackson's "Rock With U" (which he wrote) might have been a hint to the new sound Ne-Yo is aiming at. According to this site, "Closer" is the lead single off his third untitled album.




"Love Again" is another sultry ballad taken off Kelly Rowland's digital re-release, "Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe". Slow jams seems to be the ideal match for Kelly's alto vocals. (YouTube: Kelly's live performance of "Bad Habit")

Kelly Rowland and her new fuller set had lunch in Los Angeles. The "Like This" singer announced on her official website that she'll drop her digital re-release, "Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe" on March 25th.

Trina performed a handful of her hits this past Saturday in front a crowd of over 18,000 people at Wild 98.7's annual Wild Splash. Cake & Ice Cream posted up clips of the "Single Again" hip-hop artist talking about her next single, "I Gotta Thing for You" featuring Keyshia Cole.

Trina was seen in between shooting video footage for her new single, "Single Again" at a mansion in Coconut Grove, FL.

Judging from the pictures, Trina incorporates the themes from "Runaway Bride" and her music video, "Don't Trip". (Translation: A club scene + a wedding scene.)

The end result of Trina's "Single Again" video shoot should be great to see.

2008 may just be the year of female rappers as Foxy Brown, Eve, Trina, and Lil' Kim are expecting to drop records.
