Venus Williams sported a larger than life hairstyle when she attended Carolina Herrera fashion show with her mother Oracene Price and close friend Andre Leon Talley. Andre let his bag do all the talking...




Halle Berry and her man Gabriel Aubrey attended the 40th anniversary bash for Calvin Klein. (Gabriel is one of the known CK models. So isn't it nice to see these two together especially after seeing Halle with Nahla all the time solo?) Eva Mendes, another CK spokesmodel, was there as well. I see you Halle with that 'engagement' type ring!




Jill Marie Jones and Solange squeezed in some 'chill' time at a post VMA party hosted by SRC. Jill had on a familar Richard Ruiz silk tunic and Solange just have had to flaunt her favorite Fendi bag. Also at the event were D. Woods, Melyssa Ford, and Elise Neal.




Ryan Leslie dropped the video treatment for his single, "Addiction" on MTV Jams. All I can say is that the video may indicate some type of 'beef' (if you can call it that) between him and Cassie because Cassie's vocals were present but she was no show in the video. The song is still of my favorites out on the radio. Nice job, Fabolous!

At New York City's Soho Grand, Mary J Blige held her album release party for her 8th studio effort, "Growing Pains". Celebrity guests like Patti LaBelle, Chingy, Tank, Melyssa Ford, and J. Holiday came out to support Geffen Records reigning R&B/soul songbird. Kendu Isaacs, Mary J Blige's husband and manager, was on hand.

While shopping for Christmas cards and stamps, I listened to Mary J Blige's new record and I'm impressed by how much she grown vocally and lyrically since "The Breakthrough". "Grown Woman", "Work That", "Just Fine", "Shakedown" and "Roses" all have meaningful thoughts in delivery and lyrics thanks in part to the production team- The Neptunes, Bryan-Michael Cox, The Dream & Tricky Stewart, Jazze Pha and Stargate. If I had to pick a favorite, it'll be a tie behind "Just Fine" and "Grown Woman". Target currently has the album and a bonus DVD which I recommend you getting.

Melyssa Ford, LaLa Vasquez and Trina attended Chris Brown's album release party for "Exclusive" in New York City last night. LaLa kept it classy in a pair of Christian Louboutin "fox trot" heels while Trina got into the high-waisted denim hoopla.

Chris Brown, plans to heat things on his upcoming winter tour with co-headliner Bow Wow. The Holiday Exclusive Tour is scheduled to kick off in Cincinnati, OH on December 6th, 2007. The 22-date tour boasts a superstar line-up of opening acts that include Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston, Shop Boys, and Lil Mama.
