The on-going beef between Rick Ross and 50 Cent took an unexpected turn when 50 invited Rick's baby mama Tia Kemp on his online blog community THISIS50.COM. (Oh my damn, 50!) Apparently Tia (who has a son with Rick) has a tell-all expose in the works called, Tia's Diary: Deeper Than Rap, out March 2009.
50 took a step further with a new cartoon series called "Locked Up: Officer Ricky." WATCH THE RICK ROSS CARTOON DISS HERE. Was it really necessary to bring in Rick's baby mama into this whole situation??? (Co-sign Miss Info'sWOW!)
Taken off her upcoming Fantasy Ridemixtape, Ciara collaborated with 50 Cent (yet again) on the track, "Slow Down (Remix)." No doubt these two have great chemistry which is quite evident on the upbeat bombastic track. You already know that her alter ego Super C would nail this track when she gets to perform it live. (The beat is taken from Slim’s, “Good Lovin” featuring Fabolous & Ryan Leslie.)
In related news, Ciara appeared in the January 2009 edition of Women's Health magazine where she eagerly talked about her fitness tips. (Her rules left little doubt on how she secured that Wilhemina modeling contract!) Ciara also described her upcoming third album (Fantasy Ride) as a "roller coaster." Her new single, "Never Never" featuring Young Jeezy (produced by Polow Da Don) impacts on January 19th.
Ciara's rumored boyfriend 50 Cent was also at the premiere. They didn't walk the red carpet together but 50 did take a photo with the film's star Mickey Rourke.

Halle Berry caused a frenzy through the blogosphere via topless snapshots of her on the Vancouver set of "Frankie & Alice." Next up for Halle is her co-hosting gig with Tyler Perry at the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards this February.
Estelle, Nick without wife Mariah Carey Cannon, and Kelis celebrated the birthday of celebrity publicist Tracy Nguyen at Mr. West in New York last night. Black was the ideal color to rock at the event.
50 Cent appeared on "The Tyra Banks Show" to promote his upcoming album, "Before I Self Destruct" (out December 9th). Because it was his first appearance on the show, Tyra asked him questions about his wound shots, his custody battle with his baby mother, being raised by his grandmother, his public relationship with Vivica A. Fox, his new MTV show, and other juicy topics. 50 also said that Sharon Osbourne gave him the nickname, "Fiddy." The best parts of the interview was when Tyra touched 50's 'dimple', the very end of the clip (see the screencap), and when 50 flirted with Tyra when she asked him about why he's single. All three are definitely great TV moments!
PREVIEW KANYE'S HEARTLESS + 50 CENT TAPS THE REALITY TV GENRE
Kanye West gave fans and critics a sneak preview of his second auto-tone single, "Heartless" at T.I's myspace show. "Heartless" has sinced been posted up on Kanye's official blog, KANYEWEST.COM/BLOG. "808's & Heartbreak" the fourth album from Kanye drops on November 25th.
50 Cent has his eye set on the reality TV genre because he just announced that he has a new MTV show called, "The Money & Power." 50's latest venture has its MTV premiere on November 6th at 10 PM EST. The premise of the show draws upon Donald Trump's "Apprentice" according to NYMAG. Nick from World Star Hip-Hop posted up the trailer. Check it out...
MUSIQ & MJB'S DUET, ANGELA BASSETT ON "ER", KAT'S TV FLOP + KANYE VS 50 (PART 2)
Musiq Soulchild return back to his original sound via this new duet with Mary J Blige called, "If You Leave." The song was posted up on Musiq's official site. You simply can't go wrong with these two vocally. His album, "On My Radio" has its album release date on December 2nd. (Thanks Rae!)
Angela Bassett's upcoming "ER" debut has its TV premiere on September 25th ...and her husband Courtney B. Vancewill join the long running show as her on-screen husband. I'm looking forward to the last season of "ER" and what Angela would bring to the show.
Kat DeLuna started off just fine doing this live rendition of the National Anthem until she went a bit overboard vocally and the audience quickly put her in check.
just woke up from a quick studio nap… I’ve been workin’ on 808s and Heartbreak about 16 hrs a day and Superman passed out for a little bit… I’m in hawaii but I’m still on NY time so I wake up mad early, do some business, blog, jog for an hour, play ball, eat and then hit the stu by noon. While approving the final cut for the Love Lockdown vid, I marvel at the fact that it was written less than 3 weeks ago. I’m very excited about the everything… I guarantee this will be 50’s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.
50 Cent's live performance of Kanye's "Love Lockdown"
The movie is based in New Orleans in the wake of post Katrina, brutal NOPD narcotics cops are undermanned and over-worked, leaving five cops and a police psychologist to devise their own methods of policing. This pushes them to the limit forcing each of them to face whether they will escape corruption, and hold onto their own morality in the aftermath of the hurricane. Val Kimmer is also a co-star in the movie.
The movie sounds interesting. So how did Pilar landed the part? If you wanted to know Deion's movie production Primetime Productions was listed during the credits.
In related news, Pilar and her husband Deon filmed a celebrity episode of "Family Feud" with Kim Kardashian's family.
During a interview with Streetz on Fire at Dwayne Wade's "Young, Fly, and Flashy" party, BET's "106 & Park" co-host Rocsi went on record to say that 50's last record was 'garbage'.
Fantasia performed "Bore Me (Yawn)" during last night's "American Idol" live telecast. (You can check out another performance of "Bore Me (Yawn)" over at her official myspace spot.)
That energy to her fiery red hair 'do certainly proved why Fantasia won! After the performance, Fantasia confirmed that she's working on her third solo effort. Omarion performed Michael Jackson's "Thriller" during last night's "Dancing With The Stars". (For those keeping track, this performance is his first after getting dropped by Columbia Records.)
There's no doubt the pop culture influence MJ left behind, huh? The 25th anniversary tribute to MJ's classic was nice.
G Unit label mates (50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo) dropped by BET's "106 & Park" to discuss their latest musical project, "T.O.S (Terminate On Sight)". (The group's first single is called, "I Like The Way She Do It".)
The interview completely went into nice mode which is contrast to Roci going off on 50 during the whole "Kanye West vs 50 Cent" fiasco. Check out Rocsi's thoughts on 50's music here.
However the clip also served as a shameless plug for their Kardashian clothing and accessories boutique, Dash. Things that make me go hmmm...
In better-late-than-never news, 50 Cent performed at a concert gig in Angola, Africa only to have his chain snatched right off him.
50 Cent has since cleared the misconcpetion surrouding the now infamous chain incident on THISIS50.COM:
Olivia, the R&B/rap vocalist behind the hits - "Candy Shop","So Sexy", "Bizounce" and "Best Friend", sat down with Carlos King to talk about why she'll never be on the "Wendy Williams Experience" and why she's no longer signed onto 50 Cent's self-made record label, G Unit.
Olivia also name-dropped a solid roster of proudcers such as Ne-Yo, Darkchild, Missy, and many others to be included onto her upcoming album:
As talented as Olivia was with G Unit and solo, here's hoping her sophomore disc would be bring out her true musical self.
Project Scoop sent over a video clip of 50 Cent and his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Thomas battling out their differences in court.
Apparently 50 Cent served her with a eviction notice from the Dix Hills home which then prompted Tompkins to sue.
BBC News has the rundown from a legal perspective...
"This was a house that was promised to Shaniqua up until the closing," said Ms Tompkins' lawyer Paul Catsandonis. "Then he decided not to put it in her name. Now he's trying to put her out of the house. This would mean evicting his own son," he added. Mr. Catsandonis said the 32-year-old rapper - real name Curtis Jackson - had told Ms Tompkins he wanted her and their son in a safe and secure place. "This is somebody who was with him when he was shot in 2000 and who nursed him back to health," he said. [BBC NEWS]
Can you tell things are extremely bitter between 50 and Shaniqua?
In no particular order, here are a handful of the year's best remixes.
50 Cent-"I Get Money" Forbes Remix featuring Diddy and Jay-Z
"I Get Money" became the club banger and anthem for many so when Diddy and Jay-Z jump on the Forbes remix this song quickly become one of hip-hop's hottest collaborations. As Funkmaster Flex said it best "I Get Money" is "one of the hottest records out."
Alicia Keys-"No One" remix featuring Junior Reid, Chaka Demus, and Beenie Man
When "No One" blasted on the radio, fans and critics were between-do we like it or hate it? So when Alicia introduced the reggae-inspired remix at 2007 American Music Awards, some critics felt her 'raspy' vocals match the upbeat melody better.
When this song came on, folks claimed "I'm A Flirt" is Bow Wow's song and that R. Kelly took it as his own. Bow Wow even performed the song solo at one of his concert gigs.
Justin Timberlake-"Until the End of Time" featuring Beyonce Knowles
Kanye West took Rich Boy's smash, "Throw Some D's" and make the song his own while name dropping Britney Spears, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Angela Bassett, Alicia Keys, and Halle Berry.
Omarion-"Icebox" remix featuring Usher
Omarion took to his official myspace page to leak the remix of "Icebox". The video clip showed Omarion and Usher recording the remix in the studio.
Avril Lavigne-"Girlfriend" remix featuring Lil' Mama
Lil' Mama bought to 2007 catchy hooks (Lip Gloss, anyone) so she bought her same upbeat energy to the remix of Avril's "Girlfriend".
Musiq-"Buddy" remix featuring Fat Joe and Ja Rule
Fat Joe and Ja Rule team up on the remix of Musiq's "Buddy". The twosome made this song from the type of song a guy may sing to a girl to a bona-fide club hit.
Beyonce Knowles-"Get Me Bodied" remix with Solange, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland
When Beyonce, her sister Solange, and her Destiny's Child counterparts (Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland) at this year's BET Awards, it was easy to see why this was one of the best dance anthems from 2007. "Get Me Bodied" was featuring on the B'Day Video Anthology DVD- a new trend 2008 may reproduced.
This list however doesn't top upon the many great remixes so I ask YOU which were your favorites that weren't mentioned?
50 Cent and Ciara simply can't leave one another sights...that's if you attended the Prague show over the past weekend where 50 Cent came out to support his good friend, Ciara in a live performance of their hit, "Can't Leave 'Em Alone". Check out a small clip of the performance below...
In this accompanying photo supplied by UltimateCiara.net, Ciara was seen exiting out of a hotel where 50 is supposedly staying at with one of 50's production crew members. So does a photo and a live performance confirms that there is something going on between the twosome or not? For the record, Ciara has insistent upon her relationship with 50 as "just friends". Thanks to UltimateCiara for the video and picture!
Akon team up with 50 Cent on the song, "I Still Will" which is off the upcoming G-Unit compliation record. 50 currently added more dates to his world tour. "Before I Self Destruct" would be 50 Cent's last record with Interscope as his contract with the label ends. The record will reportedly be released in March. Visit here to check out 50 Cent's U.K tour dates.
Ciara attended the 2007 World Music Awards party in Monte Carlo. Also at the event were 50 Cent, Patti LaBelle, and Akon. The R&B singer rock the same backless Cavalli dress as Beyonce. Is her stylist purposely making Ciara wear items that's been worn already out on red carpet???
"I Still Kill" would be changed to "I Still Will" and 50 Cent is not too thrilled over the name change. In fact, 50 Cent argues about two rock bands:
"I don't think they have a problem with the group The Killers being called The Killers and I don't think anyone's protesting that Guns N' Roses is called Guns N' Roses. "I just think that their perception of me is dark, so they're going to ask for those things to be changed." [source]
"I Still Kill" features Akon which you can listen to here.
Before his well-publicized "relationships"* with R&B singer Ciara and actress Vivica A. Fox, 50 Cent was reportedly dating actress Elise Neal who appeared in the rapper's "Follow My Lead" video. Str8 Outta NYC has the full scoop on why Elise decided to 'kiss and tell':
“Right now we’re really just cool, but it would be the understatement of the year for me to say it was always just that. We’re friends enough to where he knows that if we’re doing something I’m not gonna go run and tell. That’s not my personality.”

Tyra Banks gets R&B songstress Ciara to open up about her rumored relationship with 50 Cent. Tyra officially nicknamed Ciara - 'the black Angelina Jolie.'
Part two focus on Ciara's fit body:
Part three focus on Rocawear ladies fashion:
Check out these two new Rocawear "I Will Not Lose" Ad campaign Ciara recently shot:
Remy Ma polished up her street meets girly look in this black Akademiks "New York Vixen" hoodie dress at a recent AllHipHop.com event:
The native Bronx rapper even switch up her hair game a bit. On the rumor tip, Remy Ma is said to be joining 50 Cent's G Unit record label. The rumor spark from this clip of Remy joining 50 in a live rendition of "Lean Back":
