MJB PERFORMS NEW SONG AT CNN HEROES
Mary J. Blige used her platform at the live telecast, "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" to perform her new ballad, “Come To Me (Peace)” taken from December 18th album release, "Growing Pains". According to

Usher Raymond IV is scheduled to relive the role made
famous by Sammy Davis Jr. in the 1960's Broadway musical play, "Golden Boy".
According to
sources,
the classical play is about a pianist who quit music to become a boxer. Last year, Usher
portrayed Billy Flynn on the long-running play, "Chicago".
On the music tip,
Usher will appear on the
Mary J Blige record, "Growing Pains" which drops this Tuesday.

Mary J Blige single, "Shakedown" off the upcoming album release, "Growing Pains". So fans hoping for these two to make it official on one another's albums after
seeing their performance at 2007 Fashion Rocks event in New York City can rejoice. Written by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, "Shakedown" is one of the many guaranteed grooves to appear on "Growing Pains" which is due out on December 18th.

Soon after her
"Daylight" duet with Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes and
clips of her House of Blues tour surfaced online, the video treatment for
Kelly Rowland's "Work" comes along. In the video, Kelly plays off her Ms. Kelly photo shoot. "Work" is said to be for her U.K audience...but you have to give it to Kelly for persistently staying on top of her music career. (Just when you think she gave up, she comes out.) Be on the look out for the
re-release of "Ms. Kelly" which includes productions from Lil' Wayne, J.R Rotem and Danja. If you're keeping track, Scott Storch produced "Work". I co-sign with

CHECK OUT ERYKAH BADU'S HONEY
Erykah Badu is coming back to the music scene with "Honey", the lead single off her February 26th album release, "The Kabah". In the press release sent over to
Urban-Hoopla, Badu describes the song as "an old school track with some funk on it." She goes on to say that, "The music is the star. I just laid down my vocals and let the music breathe while the melodies tell the stories."

Beyonce Knowles, fresh from her Movies Rock performance, flew over to Paris to celebrate her long-time boyfriend, Jay-Z's 38th birthday. The twosome spent quality time in their luxe Hotel Meurice before shopping at designer boutiques.
Here's the rundown of what happened according to
PEOPLE.COM:
The two spent a leisurely day inside their hotel suite (which overlooks the famed Tuileries garden) and, at one point, Knowles hit the hotel's luxurious spa. As evening fell, the couple took a Maybach limo for a romantic drive around the City of Light before settling down to an intimate dinner upstairs at popular restaurant L'Avenue.
