Monica joined Jermaine Dupri's YouTube blog Living The Life alongside writer Bryan-Michael Cox. The video gave insight between the friendly brother/sister interaction between Monica, JD, and B.Cox.



Monica even gave some relationship advice to B. Cox...which was entertaining to see. JD and B.Cox worked on a hot ballad for Monica's upcoming music project. JD and Monica worked together previously on her songs "Everytime Tha Beat Drops" and "The First Night." Hopefully these two can work their late '90s magic in 2009. Jay Electronica, the boyfriend of Erykah Badu, announced on his twitter page that he and Erykah just welcomed a baby daughter on February 1st at 1:30 PM. No name was mentioned but since Analog Girl Erykah has a son named Seven Sirius (with Andre3000) and a daughter named Puma Rose (with The D.O.C.) one can expected a rather unique name. Congrats to Jay and Erykah!

Songstress/actress Jill Scott recently opened up about her pregnancy to Essence magazine.

ESSENCE.COM: Congrats, Ms. Scott! We are so happy for you. What was your gut reaction when you learned you were pregnant?
JILL SCOTT: Shock. I didn't think it was possible for me to have kids because I was told I couldn't conceive. I had given up hope of becoming a mother one day.

ESSENCE.COM: What a blessing—a miracle baby! After you got over the shock where did you stand emotionally?
SCOTT: I had to slow down because after I found out, I was supposed to leave for Africa the next day. I called my doctor and talked about what I needed to do, what I couldn't do and what I could do. I was just trying to take as many precautions and be as knowledgeable as I possibly could. Quite frankly, I was freaked out and everyone was asking me, "What are you going to do?" My agent was distraught, but it wasn't about anybody else other than me finding out if the baby was going to be okay, so that's what I did first—slow down. Jill told Essence that she's expecting a baby boy mid-April with fiance and drummer Lil' Jon Roberts. Jill and Jon have been friends since high school. Jill found out about her pregnancy while filming the HBO series The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency in Botswana, Africa.

Kimora Lee Simmons and longtime boyfriend Djimon Hounsou are rumored to be pregnant as well according to Associated Content. (One minute they're engaged and the next they're pregnant!) If all is believed to be true then...Congrats!



Details of Miami's Heat Dwayne Wade, 27, and his high school sweetheart Siohvaughn, 27, divorce were revealed earlier in the week by Miami. Siohvaughn accused her husband of infecting her with unspecified STD, adultery, and abandoning their children (sons Zaire and Zion). Siohvaughn released the legal papers on Dwayne's 27th birthday this past Saturday. Dwayne earlier spoke about the divorce which MISSEXPOSE.COM has further details on. (DAMN! Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon were spotted out and about in Aspen, Colorado in color coordinating outfits (again). They paid a visit to her mother’s jewelry store, Joan Boyce.



Diddy took his look-a-like son Christian Combs out for some quality father son time (re: shopping) on Robertson Blvd. Diddy and Christian also uploaded a new YouTube blog to wish all Merry Christmas. Diddy recently threw Christian's mother Kim Porter a surprise birthday party.



Leona Lewis and her boyfriend Lou went out for a night of clubbing at Funky Buddha in London alongside Keisha Buchanan of the Sugababes. Leona also performed a solid rendition of her latest ballad (and #1 hit), "Run" on "Top of The Pops" (The Christmas episode). Leona even pulled in a choir midway through.



UPDATE: Leona performed her new single, "I Will Be" on "The David Letterman Show." She just wrapped up the video spot for this track in Brooklyn with Gossip Girl actor Chace Chawford (not pictured). Usher and his wife Tameka welcomed their second son together on Wednesday morning according to reports. (The child will be Usher's second and Tameka's fifth son.) No name of their newborn son was given as of yet. UPDATE via Us Weekly: Naviyd Ely Raymond was born at 2:33 a.m. Wednesday and weighed 5 lbs, 13 oz. Usher has said in the past that the arrival of his new baby was the "best Christmas gift ever." Congrats to the Raymonds!



After denying the claim earlier this week, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are expecting their first child...but that's if you believe "Life & Style" magazine. If this new claim is true and regardless of Janet's age factor, best wishes to them! No doubt that baby will pick up a thing or two from the parents.

Solange told this UK newspaper her adoption wishes and she said this because of the sister bond she shared with Kelly Rowland. Although Kelly and Solange are not blood relatives, Solange feels close to her but she wants to adopt a child with a man in her life. Solange (mother to son Juelz) said that she wanted more children in the future. Next up for Solange is Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve special on December 31st in New York City.)

"Kelly grew up with me since I was about five years old, so she is my sister. She didn’t come from my parents, but there is nothing I feel differently for her than my sister. I have definitely explored that option.”
