Usher's wife Tameka Foster Raymond was induced into a coma after compliations from a routine surgery at Brazil's São Paulo's Sírio-Libanês hospital, reports E Online. News of Tameka's surgery first hit the blogosphere prior to Usher's scheduled appearance at the 2009 Grammy Awards. The pair just welcomed their second son Naviyd Ely Raymond back in December 2008. UPDATE: Tameka had a heart attack prior to plastic surgery reports Us Weekly.

Eddie Murphy has agreed to provide child support (a estimated $51,000 a month/$10 million support package) for ex-girlfriend Melanie Brown's daughter Angel Iris. Mel B gave birth to Angel Iris on Eddie's birthday (April 3, 2007) and Eddie has subsequently took a DNA test to confirm that he's the father.

British tabloid the News of the World has revealed that Murphy has agreed to a support package totaling more than $10 million, following a 15-month court battle in Los Angeles. [source]

Usher and his wife Tameka was spotted out and about for the first time after they welcomed their second son Naviyd Ely (December 10th) at The Bank night club in Las Vegas. The Raymonds were present to celebrate New Year's 2009 as well as Tameka's birthday.

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony was joined by their close friend Leah Remini for dinner at San Juan eatery Marmalade in Puerto Rico. (Take that Valentine's Day divorce rumors!)

Beyonce and Jay-Z went some time off sea during their St. Barts vacation. Love that Chanel bag, colorful Catherine Malandrino dress, and those YSL sandals Beyonce has.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were also on vacation in St. Barts. Mariah officially put a stop to pregnancy rumors when she was spotted drinking some wine at Nikki Beach Resort.

John Mayer did his own acoustic spin on Mariah's holiday jingle, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" for the WPLJ Benefit at Blythedale Childrens Hospital in New York.

Usher and his wife Tameka welcomed their second son together on Wednesday morning according to reports. (The child will be Usher's second and Tameka's fifth son.) No name of their newborn son was given as of yet. UPDATE via Us Weekly: Naviyd Ely Raymond was born at 2:33 a.m. Wednesday and weighed 5 lbs, 13 oz. Usher has said in the past that the arrival of his new baby was the "best Christmas gift ever." Congrats to the Raymonds!



After denying the claim earlier this week, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are expecting their first child...but that's if you believe "Life & Style" magazine. If this new claim is true and regardless of Janet's age factor, best wishes to them! No doubt that baby will pick up a thing or two from the parents.

A noticeably pregnant Tameka Raymond was one of the last known folks to hit up the red carpet arrivals for Tyler Perry's TV & Film Studio opening over the weekend in Atlanta. (Thanks Necole Bitchie!) According to various reports, Tameka is expecting her second child with her husband, Usher.




Beyonce and Jay-Z were spotted down in Miami on their way to lunch. On her arm was her favorite Dolce & Gabbana patchwork bag. The "If I Were A Boy" singer also appeared on the upcoming November 2008 cover of "Essence" magazine.

Right along the announcement of his "One Night Stand" (ladies only) tour, news of Usher separating from his wife Tameka Foster made its way onto the urban blogosphere. This tidbit has got to be 100% foul (re: publicity stunt!) Usher recorded "Here I Stand" just for Tameka and he proclaimed his love for her and their son "Cinco" in EVERY interview. This rumor needs more people! On top of all of that, Usher and Tameka are expecting their second child together.

Solange's "Sol-Angel & Hadley Street Dreams" album sales are in! Solange sold 46,000 units which landed her sophomore effort at the #9 spot on the Billboard charts. Not bad at all...that's if you compared it to the estimated 10k that was rumored to be her first week sales. Solange already has another single waiting to be released and it's "T.O.N.Y." Something tells me the numbers wouldn't mean a thing to Solange...


Speaking of Solange, I do know I'm late on posting this tidbit up but FOX News fought back Solange's remarks. The FOX reporters called Solange "a little brat" among other things.

Usher looked sharp in a grey suit when he held a launch party for his "uCast Podcast Series" at Tiffany & Co in Atlanta this past Friday. Celebrity guests included Wesley Jonathan and Keisha Knight-Pulliam.



On the fashion tip, his wife Tameka Foster wore a black Azzedine Alaïa belt - the same stylish piece Mary-Kate Olsen wore with her blue silk chiffon Stella McCartney dress on the July 2008 magazine cover of "Elle". According to THE LOOK, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, and Ashley Olsen are fans of this '80's-inspired wide belt.

No baby Cinco in sight though.
