The Dream had his album listening session for Love vs Money last night in New York City. Christina Milian was there at the event showing her support. Aura from All That's Fab has a brief video interview of Dream cursing talking with Angie Martinez about the album treatment.

Ashanti and her mother Tina Douglas attended music producer Carols McKinney's Grammy nomination party in New York City. That MUST be Ashanti's favorite belt!

Samuel brought along his family (daughter Zoe and wife LaTanya Richardson) to see him pick the prestigious American Cinematheque Award for his diverse film career.



Over in New York City's Heart Tower last night, Russell Simmons alongside Kim Kardashian, Rev. Run, Gayle King, Justine Simmons, and Cassie arrived at the Empowerment for Africa dinner.


Beyonce and her fishnet stockings struck a fierce pose for the December/January 2009 cover edition of Giant magazine. Beyonce talked about how her husband Jay-Z's stage persona differs from her:

Beyonce's upcoming third solo album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce" can be heard online via 7 Digital. The leaked track "Beautiful Nightmare" has a new sound and was renamed "Sweet Dreams." Standout tracks are the Sasha Fierce tracks, "Halo", "Radio", "Diva", "Echo" and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It"). "I Am..Sasha Fierce" has its U.S album release date on November 18th.

The divorce settlement between Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee has been narrowed down to their children. Apparently Kimora asked for a large amount of money to raise daughters Aoki Lee and Ming Lee - and she got what she requested in court.

Each of the hip-hop mogul’s two girls with estranged wife Kimora Lee is set to receive $20,000 a month in child support. That’s a total of $480,000 each year for kids who already live in a palatial $24 million estate in Saddle River, N.J. Their mom, a former model, is CEO of the Baby Phat fashion house. The agreement shows that until 2019, Russell Simmons will continue payments for Ming Lee, now 8, and, until 2022, for Aoki, now 5. [NYDAILYNEWS]

O'Day will take on the role of Amber Von Tussle, the stuck-up arch-nemesis of Tracy Turnblad, in Hairspray starting July 18 at N.Y.C.'s Neil Simon Theatre. She also joins former boybander, O-Town's Ashley Parker Angel, who is already performing in the play.

India.Arie is set to perform in Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf, beginning September 8 at N.Y.C.'s Circle in the Square Theater. Kidada Jones launch hosted the Disney-oriented collection, "The Art of Pooh" last night in Los Angeles. (FYI: Kidada debuted a special painting created just for the show. The entire collection was done by an array of Disney artists.) Her sister Rashida and mother Peggy Lipton were in attendance. Kidada launched another collection with the Disney brand last year which bought friends Nicole Richie, Sanaa Lathan and Paula Patton.
