BUZZ & HOOPLA: FOXY, TIFFANY EVANS, BRITNEY, KERI & KARDINAL

A Herve Leger-wearing Foxy Brown celebrated her birthday with a party at New York nightclub LQ and WHATSPOPPIN.NET was on the scene. Foxy looked great as she performed despites her slight wardrobe malfunction. (Thanks Mecca!)

Tiffany Evans revamped her image for her upcoming album, "Ponytail Krush." No more short hairstyle for Tiffany this time around! "Ponytail Krush" would become Tiffany's sophomore disc after her self-titled debut which had the hits, "Promise Ring" featuring Ciara and "I'm Grown" featuring Bow Wow. The 16-year-old singer and actress also appears as the Pastry Footwear spokesmodel. As for what to expect for her new sound, Tiffany explained, "...I describe this album like turning a radio dial and no matter what type of music the station plays, you can find a Tiffany Evans record on the playlist." The video premiere for Britney's "Womanizer" doesn't appear on the ABC's show, "20/20" until this Friday October 10th at 10PM ET but in the meanwhile check out these new photos taken during the video shoot in Los Angeles.

Kardinal Offishall wrapped up the video treatment for his single, "Numba 1 (Tide Is High)" with Keri Hilson and Akon. As reported earlier Kardinal decided to stick with Keri's verison and not the Rihanna one featured on his album. Keri also replaced Cassie on the Ryan Leslie single, "Addiction" for the radio version according to The Thomas Crown Chronicles blog.

PARTIES AND PREMIERES

KEYSHIA COLE TOCARRA ROSCI AND TERRENCE J AT BET UPFRONTS 2008

Keri Hilson, Nina Sky, and Teyana Taylor supported the third anniversary bash of "RAP-UP" magazine at the Addidas store in NYC. Mecca from WHATSPOPPIN.NET has more pictures from the event.

Golden Brooks stepped up her style game when she attended the Courvoisier/LRG Pop-Up Tour launch event. The former "Girlfriends" actress just wrapped a film called, "A Good Man Is Hard To Find".

Tatyana Ali was seen at the "Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" premiere last night. No word yet on Tatyana's forthcoming album, "The Light"...

Foxy Brown (Inga Marchand) was released from Riker's Island yesterday after serving eight months of a one-year sentence. According to a press release posted up on her record label, Foxy's new album, "Brooklyn's Don Diva" hits stores May 13th.

ALBUM COVERS FEATURING MJB & FOXY BROWN

Jimmy from The Hip-Hop Music sent over these album covers featuring Mary J Blige and Foxy Brown. Both ladies look very much like their glamorous self.

Blige's upbeat lead single "Just Fine" was produced by Tricky Stewart and the Dream (the same duo behind Rihanna's "Umbrella"). "Growing Pains" is set for a December 11th release after the initial November 11th push-back. For this new MJB record, the R&B songstress work with producers Ne-Yo, Stargate, Dre & Vidal, and Timbaland.

Foxy Brown's "Brooklyn Don Diva" also drops December 11th. The album covers reminds me a bit of Lil' Kim's "La Bella Mafia" but "Brooklyn's Don Diva" cover art is legit as it's been posted up on KOCH Records site, her new label home. Her legal problems is overshadowing this release as Brown was sentenced to a 76-day at Rikers Island. EURWEB.COM has the full scoop. PREGNANCY HOOPLA: FOXY BROWN AND PHARRELL'S GIRL VASTHIE

Two females in the hip-hop community are supposedly pregnant. Foxy Brown and Pharrell's girlfriend, Vashtie Kola. Interestingly so, Vashtie and Foxy were photographed with Pharrell at launch of BBC clothing line back in August 2004.

Vashtie Kola is the stylist of Pharrell's two clothing line, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream:

Here's when things gets a tad bit confusing. Although, Vashtie and Pharrell have been dating for five years now. Photographs of them together goes all the way back to Pharrell and Vashtie shopping together in NYC and Europe in 2004. Pharrell claims to TMZ that he hasn't seen her in over a year. So does this mean they've been dating for four years indeed? Pharrell has once claim a number of songs {re: Frontin, Number One, and Angel} have been written inspired of his relationship with Vashtie. Let's go down memory lane with these two:

-Going shopping back in September 2004-

-Eating out back back in late 2005-

-Chilling with Naomi Campbell back in July 2004-
Pharrell and Vashtie in SOHO back in August 2006. She's the chick in the background:

Back in July 2006, Pharrell did admitted he was in love with Vashtie and even turned down rumors of getting engaged:
"What happened was I did an interview… and he was like ‘Yo what about Vashtie?’ and I was like ‘We’re close’, and that sounded like we were close to
being married! We have a close connection, that’s what I was saying. So that’s
a definite no then? I love her, but I’m not engaged."
Vashtie was last seen at Lupe Fiasco at the 1st Year Anniversary of Swagger Tokyo Clothing Launch this past March:

A source of Pharrell and Vashtie's leaked out to the media that the pregnancy rumors are NOT true at all. Vashtie and Pharrell are done with their relationship and Vashtie has a new man in her life. Word is Pharrell isn't even "not sure why this is coming out now." Although Pharrell has gone on record to say: "No, no romance. Music's been my girlfriend. That's the truth! It sounds crafty but it's really the truth. I haven't really been able to put time into anything other than music and fashion."

Foxy Brown who's in her own legal battle is also rumored to be pregnant. Word on the street Foxy's sporting a HUGE bump that she's been trying to keep under wraps by rocking baby doll dresses and loose fitting tops. The judge acknowledge Foxy's good behavior:

"I'm going to restore her to probation...There's no necessity for the court to monitor her. I see a positive probation report here," Jackson told Brown. "It
was a real struggle to get you onboard. I want to see you finish this sentence
and go on to a happy life."

And so WHO knocked up Foxy?!? Foxy's long-time boyfriend, Tyson Beckford?!?

Tyson and Foxy have been together since 2005. They made their first public appearance at BET SOS telethon in September 2005. And since then, these two have been spotted several times out and about.

Foxy Brown's gone fashion MAD again!

Foxy Brown gives the thumbs up after leaving a Manhattan courthouse on Friday after pleading guilty to violating her probation. Two weeks earlier, Brown spent the night in jail after an incident at a beauty supply store in Pembroke Pines, Fla., where she reportedly squirted hair glue at the storeowner. The rapper was charged with battery and resisting arrest.

Foxy Brown in heat---AGAIN!

Foxy Brown held a press conference not too long ago to focus on the beauty salon incident in Flordia that occurred earlier this month.

"Rapper Foxy Brown took a shot at the Pembroke Pines Police Department and the owner of a local beauty shop a week and a half after she spent a night in a Broward County jail.
The 28-year-old was charged earlier this month with battery and resisting an officer with violence after police said she threw hair glue at the owner of Queen Beauty Supply and later swatted an officer.
But Brown claims she was deliberately targeted because of her race and celebrity status.
"The only crime I guilty of committing is being a young, black female celebrity in Broward County, Fla.," Brown said during a news conference in New York on Monday. "And I am the victim of an overzealous police department who engaged in police brutality, and a money-hungry store owner whose primary motives are for me to pay his mortgage on his house and his children's tuition."
