Kelly Rowland did good on her position as MTV's Staying Alive Foundation Ambassador. Over in England, she was seen at a press conference in support of the foundation's 10th anniversary. Soon after Kelly attended the the 2008 Europe Music Awards. Kelly has definitely made the UK her homebase, hasn't she? Next up for Kelly is the first ever MTV Africa Music Awards.

The big rumor in the tabloids is that Swizz and his wife broke up over the proverbial “other woman.” What made the story so sensational was that the alleged mistress in this case was Grammy winner Alicia Keys. Swizz dismissed it.

“It ain’t even bad,” he said, more agitated. “My divorce, it ain’t nothing bad. It’s just us moving on. Me and Shonda are super good. It is what it is. [The press] are nine months late on the situation. It’s a headache to me. We been separated nine or 10 months already.”


Swizz’s ire was raised in particular by recent headlines on the front pages of Hip Hop Weekly and MediaTakeout.com.

“That sh– just looks like drama,” he said. “They got another big name involved. No, I’m not doing [any] f—ing interviews. Only thing I’m commenting on is music-related. I don’t comment on my personal life. Why start now? You start commenting on that sh–, then they start twisting it out. I’m not gonna speak about nothing. They [gave Mashonda] two pages in Hip Hop Weekly. She didn’t even say nothing about Alicia. They blew it up on MediaTakeout.com. They flipped that into some other sh–. Rapper The Game, née Jayceon Taylor, 27, and his girlfriend Tiffany Webb welcomed a son, King Justice, on April 25th. King joins older brother Harlem Caron, who turns 4 on June 30th. [source]

The Game rejected a Manhattan prosecutor's offer of a guilty plea for a sentence of time already served (the few hours in the precinct when he was booked). Edison Alban, spokesman for the Manhattan D.A.'s office tells TMZ, "He declined the deal through his lawyers. He was also in court but didn't address the judge or say anything else." Criminal impersonation in the 2nd degree carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail.

The rapper was arrested last November after he told a cab driver that he was an undercover police officer -- and persuaded him to run a few red lights. He allegedly rode in the cab after an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman." The cabbie drove about 13 blocks before he was pulled over by police.

Ne-Yo has branded Whitney Houston's upcoming comeback album---BORING! The Sun is reporting that Whitney is singing about her life post and during Bobby Brown. "They all had the one same theme, which was ‘My name is Whitney Houston and this is my triumphant comeback’. We all understand she has gone through a lot. I’m sure we all get that but I think she needs songs about regular everyday life. So that’s what I’m planning to add to the album - songs about everyday emotions." If Ne-Yo is right about this, would YOU prefer Whitney singing about anything but Bobby? I'm interested in listening to her sing about Bobby especially about what EXACTLY broke them up.


Rapper The Game already has his second son's name picked out - three weeks before the tot is born. The Los Angeles-based rapper has told MTV News he'll call his newborn King Justice. That won't be the only new name in the family. The Game reveals, "I'm changing my str”et (mixtape) name. I'm killing ‘Hurricane,’ and I'm just gonna run with the ‘Murda Game." The rapper admits he came up with the new alias after speaking to pal NAS about his pseudonyms. He adds, "I talked to Nas... and we was talking about his career and where he's been, talking about (Nas' aliases) Escobar and Nasty Nas. "I was like, 'I need one of them aliases.' He was like, 'Well, if I'm Nasty Nas, then you're Murda Game because you murder n**gas.' "That's what it is - out with the Hurricane, in with Murda Game. I got that from a don, man. D'Angelo is said to appear on Common's upcoming album as well as Lily Allen, Kanye West and Will.i.am. Brandy is being replaced by Sharon Osbourne on "America's Got Talent." TMZ has learned that Brandy has been replaced by Sharon Osbourne as a judge on the upcoming season of “America’s Got Talent.”
While rumors have swirled that Osbourne was in talks with NBC, a well-placed source tells TMZ that the embattled R&B star is officially out — and the rock and roll chatter queen is in. There was wide speculation over Brandy’s role on the talent show following her involvement in a December freeway crash that claimed a woman’s life. The City Attorney has yet to file charges against the “Moesha” star.
