SPOTTED HOOPLA IN TINSELTOWN

John Legend and his girlfriend Christine were seen outside the STK steakhouse in matching black and white outfits. John's first signed successful Homeschool Records artist Estelle recently released her American debut album, "Shine".

Looking chic in pair of bright blue skinny jeans, Kelly Rowland launched the opening of St. Aubyn's Holistic Centre in London. Kelly (mid-way into her "Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe Edition" promotion) even dished out style tips to a few lucky patients.

Jennifer Hudson of the upcoming "Sex & The City: The Movie" struck a pose outside her Mid-town Manhattan hotel. JHud has a new song on the "SATC" film soundtrack called "All Dressed Up in Love". Word has it that her Cee-Lo written song will be played during the film's ending credits.

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon attended the 15th Annual Race to Erase MS event at the Hyatt Regency. The never-aging new mom switch her up look twice - from a strapless red to a couture blue ruffled ensemble.

KEISHA WHITAKER AT 15TH ANNUAL RIGHT TO ERASE MS EVENT

Keisha Whitaker (a former model and wife of Forest Whitaker) was also at the event -rocking two black fashion-forward outfits. (She wore a black strapless Tommy Hilfiger for the charity foundation's fashion show.)

Gabrielle Union and Lynn Whitfield went for a classy Southern Belle look at the 134th Kentucky Derby.

MJB, JAY-Z AND BEYONCE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

Jay-Z and Mary J Blige dropped by New York City's Madison Square Garden for their joint "Heart Of The City" tour.

Beyonce (Mrs. Shawn Carter, just so you know) made a surprise appearance during the show. She did a little bit of her "Uh Oh" dance from her hit, "Crazy in Love" too while her husband stood back and watch...

In related news, Beyonce worked with Chris "Tricky" Stewart and Kuk Harrell in a New York City recording studio for her upcoming third solo effort. (Tricky and The Dream are behind Rihanna's "Umbrella", MJB's "Just Fine" and Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body".)

"She's a professional," Tricky tells PEOPLE. "She loves what she does and works her [butt] off. Right now she's basically doing three to four songs a day and that's unheard of." [PEOPLE.COM]

MADONNA ON BET'S 106 & PARK

Madonna's 11th studio record, "Hard Candy" landed her first public appearance on BET's "106 & Park" yesterday.

Madonna sat down with Rosci and Terrence J to talk about her lead single, "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. (Awkwardness, much?)

Right before the commerical break, they played a new single from her called "Candy Shop" which was produced by Pharrell Williams.

As for what she wore to the show, Madonna rock a gold-chain laden black Givenchy dress, according to Style Watch.

LOOK ON LOCK EDITION: GARCELLE VS KIM

Garcelle Beauvais and Kim Kardashian in DVF

Thanks to Susan's fashion blog, I Heart That, Urban-Hoopla has another fun installment of LOOK on LOCK between Kim Kardashian and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon.

Keeping cool in a multi-print Diane von Furstenberg dress, Kim Kardashian was seen shopping on Bondi Beach with her younger sister Khloe (not pictured).

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon kept her accesssories to a minimum when she wore the same DVF maxi dress at Saks Fifth Avenue's 20th Annual Spring Luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

On a side note, Molly Simms also wore this DVF dress, PEOPLE.COM reports.

BUZZ ON COMMON'S INVINCIBLE SUMMER ALBUM

Common held a private listening session for his upcoming eighth album, "Invincible Summer", BILLBOARD.COM reports.

The Chicago-based artist said his new material has a "feel good/summer time" appeal to it.

Maybe his relationship with tennis champion Serena Williams has some sort of inspiration behind the lyrical content but that's just my opinion!

"Invincible Summer" certainly echoed the same sentiment for Common's busy schedule. Common just wrapped up the action flick, "Wanted" which will be in theaters on June 27th - just three days shy of his album release date.

In addition to his active film career, Common also become the face of Lincoln Navigator. He also launched a hat line called Soji.

Featured artists on Common's record are Santogold, Chester French, and Cee-Lo. "Universal Mind Control (U.M.C)" supposedly would be the lead single off Common's forthcoming disc.

JD recently added a new video clip taken in the studio with his good friend Mariah Carey.

If you kept up with the hoopla surrounding Mariah marrying her "Bye, Bye" co-star Nick Cannon, then this video doesn't elaborate or even touch upon that topic.

Ne-Yo sat down with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 to talk about blogs, persistent rumors, his new musical direction, and the R&B fiasco with R. Kelly.

RIHANNA WORKS WITH MAROON 5

Rihanna collaborated with Maroon 5 on the remake of their song “If I Never See Your Face Again.”

According to various reports, Maroon 5 has the song on their album re-release, "It Won’t Be Soon Before Long". Rihanna also has the song on her own album June 17th album re-release, "Good Girl Gone Bad."

This new collaboration comes as no surprise because Maroon 5's lead vocalist Adam Levine admires Rihanna as a artist. The new single also will be the only duet on Rihanna's Summer album re-release.

Maroon 5 and Rihanna also shot a stylish Anthony Mandler-directed video for the upbeat tune in Los Angeles recently, MTV reports.

We're both re-releasing our albums — mine's out June 17," Rihanna told MTV News. "This is the only collaboration on my re-release, because I always wanted to work with Maroon 5. They're one of my favorite bands. When they called me to do this record with them, I was so honored."

"The song was basically done, but we wanted to try something different, so we had her come in and do bits and pieces," Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine added. "It came together so quick. The only other collaboration I had done before was with Kanye, and it was the same way. It sounds cheesy, but if the magic is there, if the chemistry is there, you don't even have to think about it." Last week, Jaslene Gonzalez of "America's Next Top Model" fame wore this strecth satin BEBE green dress with a leopard print jacket and nude pumps to the 8th Annual Hot List Party in New York City.

Adrienne Bailon of the Cheetah Girls was seen in the white take of that BEBE dress with gold wedges and a matching gold clutch at Bartles & Jaymes Poolside BBQ last May.

On a side note, "Flavor of Love" alumnis Buckeey and Saaphyri wore the same dress as Jaslene and Adrienne in pink.

USHER TALKS TO ESSENCE ABOUT FATHERHOOD

R&B singer Usher shot down speculation of him selling photos of his son (Usher Raymond V) to "Essence" magazine with a price tag, PAGE SIX reports.

"In no way would I ever pimp out my child for money. I am livid that people talk about my child," Usher told us. In fact, he has posed - for free - with his son for an "incredible" Father's Day cover for Essence magazine.

"What makes you a man more than being a father to your child? I recognize I gave anonymity away when I became an artist, but to have people try to paint a horrible picture of what's so beautiful - it's obvious someone is trying to stop something so beautiful." [PAGESIX.COM]

NEW VIDEOS: NE-YO, THE DREAM & PILES

The Dream recently released on BET's "106 & Park" the video for his third single, "I Luv Your Girl" featuring Young Jeezy.

"I Luv Your Girl" picked up the buzz that The Dream's previous hits, "Shawty Is A Ten" and "" had going on from his debut record, "Love/Hate". The video has a cameo from Selita Ebanks' NFL-playing boyfriend, Osi Umenyiora.

The Melina-directed video of Ne-Yo's lead single, "Closer" hit the blogosphere earlier in the week.

Ne-Yo has a performance gig on ABC's long-running soap opera, "All My Children" on May 21st and May 22nd where he'll perform "Closer" and his other single, "Stop This World". (Ne-Yo's performance would be televised during the wedding of Angie and Jesse Hubbard, the supercouple played by Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams.)

In related news, Ne-Yo collaborated with Piles on "Bust It Baby Part 2". FRESH has Piles' album cover art for "Definition of Real". Is it me or does the song samples Janet Jackson's "Let's Wait Awhile"?

Bee-Ex, (who was eliminated the VH1 reality series, "Flavor of Love 3"), launched a new YouTube talk show called "Up Next With Bee-Ex." Check out other episodes via YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

Lil’ Mama released the video treatment for her autobiographical single, "L.I.F.E.," which is taken off her debut record, "VTP: Voice of The Young People". Lil' Mama previously released the up-beat songs, "Lip Gloss" and "Shawty Get Loose" before talking about matters close to her personal life.

MEL B AND TRACEY EDMONDS BECOME FAST FRIENDS

Last month Melanie Brown and her husband Stephen Belafonte were seen at Foxtail restaurant - the same evening Tracey Edmonds had dinner at.

So in case you're wondering where's the hoopla, continue reading.

Melanie and Tracey are Eddie Murphy's well-publicized exes.

InTouch Weekly has all the hoopla on Melanie and Tracey's documented meeting at the L.A eatery.

On April 19, Eddie's ex-girlfriend, Spice Girl Melanie Brown, and his ex-wife of two weeks, Tracey Edmonds, ran into each other at Foxtail Restaurant in L.A. Mel, 32, and Tracey, 41, arrived separately with friends when they spotted one another.

"Once they made eye contact, they walked right over to each other," an insider at the restaurant confides. "The Two hugged and they instantly bonded."

The insider says the ladies chatted, swapped numbers and made plans for lunch. We're sure they'll have lots to talk about!"

If this scenerio of Eddie Murphy's exes reuniting seems to be familar, well in one specific way it actually does.

Last August, Melanie Brown and Eddie's ex-wife Nicole Murphy had lunch together at The Ivy with their two daughters as PEOPLE.COM reported on.
